*Driving Change in Ward 06: 2-Bin System & Plastic-Free Market*

Silchar Municipal Corporation & Team Srishti conducted a cleanliness awareness drive at Sadarghat Bridge Market, Ward 06. Shopkeepers, vendors & residents were urged to segregate wet & dry waste in 2 bins, stop single-use plastic, and switch to cloth/jute bags. Waste must be handed only to municipal collection vehicles. Rule violations will invite strict action.

Securing our streets, one vaccine at a time.

Today, a joint Anti-Rabies vaccination drive was successfully conducted in Meherpur, Birbal Bazar. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Silchar Municipal Corporation, the Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department (Cachar), and Sporsho NGO, five stray dogs were safely vaccinated to ensure community health and animal welfare.
Together, we are building a safer, rabies-free environment for both our citizens and our furry street neighbors!
