During the BLA and Booth Committee training meeting, on the pretext of differences of opinion with the Sonai Block Congress President, a group of miscreants carried out a physical assault on Shri Ajmal Hussain Laskar Organisational General Secretary of the Silchar District Congress Committee. This attack is utterly barbaric and condemnable. Such hooliganism is not the language of politics and is unacceptable under any circumstances.

We strongly condemn this cowardly attack in the harshest terms and demand that the APCC take immediate and strict action against the culprits.
