RGP Member Nilesh Gaude Exposes the “So-Called National President” Viresh Borkar
On Sunday, 23 August 2026, during a meeting convened by Viresh Borkar with RGP members at Valpoi, former RGP Valpoi Block President Nilesh Gaude directly questioned Borkar’s claim to the post of National President.
Nilesh asked Viresh Borkar four basic questions:
- Under what authority are you convening and attending this meeting?
- Who are the members of the National Council?
- Who are the members of the National Executive Committes of 150 members?
- When did you become National President, and when does your term end?
According to Nilesh, Viresh Borkar failed to provide documents or satisfactory answers to these questions and instead diverted the discussion.
Nilesh further pointed out that the term of the National President had ended in 2024 and questioned the authority under which Borkar was claiming to function as National President.
He also challenged Viresh Borkar to file a case against Manoj Parab if he believed Parab had unlawfully exercised presidential powers or issued election tickets.
On the issue of the sealing of the RGP office, Nilesh questioned Viresh directly and sought an explanation. He also challenged Borkar to file a fraud complaint against Treasurer CS Ajay Kholkar if there were genuinely any allegations regarding party funds or financial irregularities.
Nilesh stated that, after confirming the matter with the Party Treasurer, no such allegations were found to be true, and alleged that false narratives were being circulated against party functionaries.
He further question how Mr. Pravin is appointed as Chairperson of Disciplinary Committee when he is not even member of the party.
Nilesh further alleged that Viresh Borkar is attempting to split the RGP organisation under the instructions of Congress and appealed to RGP members and supporters across Goa.
“Ask the So-Called National President the same questions. Demand documents. Demand answers. Demand accountability.”
RGP belongs to its members, not to any individual claiming power without constitutional authority.
