Today, the members of "Hami Ek – Youth for Change" came together to decorate 'Bhanu Park, Jorethang' in preparation for tomorrow's auspicious celebration of 'Bhanu Jayanti'.

Despite the heavy rain, our enthusiasm and commitment never wavered. Every decoration reflects our respect for the legacy of Adikavi Bhanu Bhakta Acharya and our dedication to preserving our culture and traditions.

We were also honoured by the presence of our Respected SDM Sir Shri Bhoj Bahadur Rai, who visited the venue, inspected the preparations, and guided us with his valuable suggestions. His encouragement motivated us to give our very best.

As we look forward to tomorrow's celebration, we are reminded that when a community comes together with a shared purpose, no obstacle—not even the rain—can stand in its way.

Together we serve. Together we preserve. Together we grow. ❤️

As part of the preparations for tomorrow's Plantation Drive on Sikkim Paryawaran Parva 2026 - a day for mother Earth today at SIRD Karfectar, Team 'Hami Ek' proudly joined hands with various departments in a collective effort to promote environmental conservation and community responsibility.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our respected MLA & Advisor, Shri Madan Cintury Sir, and Director of SIRD, Shri Bishal Mukhia Sir, for their constant encouragement, guidance, and unwavering support. Their leadership continues to inspire us to work for the betterment of our society.

One of the most rewarding aspects of today's preparation was the active participation of the younger generation. By involving our youth in meaningful community initiatives, we are nurturing a sense of responsibility, leadership, and environmental awareness.

Together, we believe that every sapling planted is a promise to future generations, and every young hand involved is a step towards a cleaner, greener, and more compassionate society.

On the occasion of World Environment Day, the members of "Hami Ek" came together with a shared commitment to protect and preserve our environment through action.

Day 1: Cleanliness Drive
Our team carried out a cleanliness campaign at 'Jala Singha Devithan Mandir, Gairigaon, Jorethang'. Members cleaned the temple premises, collected waste, painted parts of the Mandir, and beautified the surroundings. The objective was not only to create a cleaner environment but also to restore and enhance a place of spiritual and community significance.

Day 2: Plantation Drive
The following day marked the beginning of our plantation initiative. We were honored to have our Area MLA and Advisor, Shri Madan Cintury Sir, and Mr. Bishal Mukhia Sir, Director, SIRD Karfectar, inaugurate the event by planting the first saplings and sharing words of encouragement on environmental responsibility.

Following the inauguration, the members of Hami Ek continued the plantation drive and successfully planted saplings around the area, contributing to a greener and healthier future.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our distinguished guests, all volunteers, supporters, and community members who made this initiative a success. Environmental conservation is not a one-day effort—it is a responsibility that we must uphold every day.

Thank You,
Team Hami Ek

Every act of kindness has a story, and this chapter belongs to all of you. ❤️
On 30th of May, through our Donation Drive Phase-II at Majhitar, we were able to return to the community the love and support that the community first showed us. What began as a collection drive has now become a meaningful effort to reach those who need it the most.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every donor who contributed, shared, and believed in our mission. Your generosity is the reason we are able to make a difference, one family at a time.

A special thank you to Ward President Mr. Bishal Limboo and Mr. Birendra Prasad for their invaluable support in organizing the event at Majhitar and for helping us connect with the people by spreading awareness about our cause. Your encouragement and dedication played a vital role in making this initiative successful.

This is more than a donation drive—it's a reminder that when a community comes together with compassion, positive change becomes possible.

Together, we continue to serve. Together, we continue to grow. 🤝❤️

Phase II of our Donation Drive at Majhitar was a reminder that kindness always comes full circle. The clothes, food, and essentials donated during Phase - I have now reached families who needed them the most.

This is not just distribution; this is unity, compassion, and humanity in action.

Thank you to everyone, who trusted and supported our mission through their valuable donations.

Thanks to Ward President of Majhitar, Sikkim, Shri Bishal S***a and the people of Majhitar who came forward to receive the love and solidarity packed in the form of donation.

Today marked the continuation of our previous meaningful interaction with Respected MLA of 08 Zoom–Salghari Constituency and Advisor for Skill Development & Transport Departments, Shri Madan Century sir. The Executive Body of Hami Ek Jorethang had the privilege of meeting Sir once again at his residence, where he generously shared his valuable time, guidance, and wisdom with us.

Sir emphasized the importance of remaining united as a society and dedicating ourselves to works that genuinely uplift and benefit those in need. He encouraged us to become guardians and guiding lights for the youth who may have lost their path or feel isolated from society, reminding us that true social work lies in bringing people together and creating hope.

As individuals who are part of society, Sir enlightened us on our responsibilities toward the community and shared his vision for the betterment and development of Jorethang itself. He also introduced us to many innovative ideas and practical mechanisms that our organization can adopt to grow, sustain itself, and continue serving for years to come.

What touched us deeply was Sir’s assurance that he would always stand beside us — offering support, guidance, and wisdom whenever needed. Such encouragement gives us greater motivation and strength as we continue our journey.

Following our recent donation drive initiative, Sir also extended his support through a generous monetary contribution. We express our heartfelt gratitude for this noble gesture. This support will play a crucial role in helping us procure essential items for the donation drive and further strengthen our mission of serving those in need.

We extend our sincere thanks and deepest gratitude to Shri Madan Cintury Sir for his constant encouragement, trust, support, and inspiring words. Your guidance is not only shaping our organization but also giving us a stronger purpose and direction. We remain committed to carrying forward these lessons and working together for a more united, compassionate, and progressive Jorethang.

Together, united in purpose — 'Hami Ek, for the people and with the people.'
