Kudos to Professor Farooq Ahmad Malik for taking the personal initiative and making the effort to install three public taps at the Guree water tank. This addresses a long-standing public demand, as the entire village—especially the residents of Uranhal—depends on this source for drinking water. His efforts are highly appreciated. Previously, there was only one public tap, forcing hundreds of locals to gather and crowd around it to collect water. We also express our sincere gratitude to the worthy Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Anantnag."
