Burning or desecrating the Qur’an, or any sacred book for that matter, should be roundly condemned and discouraged.

Such an act is only meant to incite division and hatred. It does not solve a single problem. It is also meant to provoke people into lashing out.

Ignore incivility. Violence is not the answer.

Plus, burning a book like the Qur’an will never erase it from the hearts of the people who read it.
