PressTV-Kashmir hosts largest iftar reception Almost a week ahead of Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan, Muslims in Indian-controlled Kashmir have organized a major iftar reception.

More than 4000 people break their fast together at 'Kashmir's Largest Iftaar' 2016.

We are providing free shuttle service for our guests to and from Polo Ground at 4 pick up points:

1. Nehru Park
2.Khanyar (near Dastagheer Sahib Shrine)
3.Batmaloo (near shrine)
4.Bemina (near grid station)

NOTE: Buses will be available for pickup between 6 to 6:30 PM.

5,000 people to break fast together in Kashmir's 'largest Iftar party' The organisers are upbeat about the event after hosting Asia's longest Iftar party last year.

We will be hosting 'Kashmir's Largest Iftaar' on 30th June at Polo Ground, Srinagar. In Sha Allah.
We have made food arrangements for up to 5000 people.

“This is a community get-together, where we are making preparations for 5,000 people to have iftar with us. We want to make Ramazan a month of celebration and festivity,”

Community ‘iftar’ at Polo Ground SRINAGAR: Come June 30, Kashmir will witness its largest ‘iftar’ (evening meal when Muslims end their Ramazan fast) at historical Polo Ground in Srinagar, where more than 5,000 people are expected to celebrate the fasting month.
