India-Oman CEPA enters into force today, marking a significant milestone in the economic partnership between the two countries.
The agreement will strengthen India's access to the GCC and wider Middle East markets, reinforce centuries-old India-Oman ties, and build on growing bilateral trade which reached USD 11.18 billion in FY 2025-26.
With over 6 lakh Indians in Oman and strong trade complementarities, the CEPA is set to boost exports, competitiveness and long-term economic cooperation.
