હમણાં ઘણા દિવસ થી સૌરાષ્ટ્ર વાળા લોકો સુરત શહેરમાં થી સૌરાષ્ટ્ર જતા લોકો ની બહુ મજાક ઉડાવે છે તો મારી એ લોકો ને એટલી જ ચેતવણી છે કે

સુરત શહેર માં વસતા સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ના લોકો ના કારણે જ સૌરાષ્ટ્ર સમૃદ્ધ છે, સૌરાષ્ટ્ર માં આવેલા તમામ દુષ્કાળ માં સુરત વાળા લોકો એ જ સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ની સહાય કરી છે, સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ને ભૂખમરા માંથી બચાવ્યું છે,

અને જે લોકો મજાક ઉડાવે છે તે લોકો પેલા તેની પોતાની ઓકાત જોઈ લેય,

અને સુરત થી તે લોકો સૌરાષ્ટ્ર માં તેમના પરિવાર ના મકાન અને ખેતર માં આવ્યા હોય છે, તમારા જેવા હલકા લોકો પાસે ભીખ માગવા નહિ... સુરત ના લોકોએ તમને ભીખ આપી છે એટલે તમારા ઘર ચાલ્યા છે એ ક્યારેય ભૂલતા નહિ...

અને હું હજી પણ કહીશ છે સૌરાષ્ટ્ર સમૃદ્ધ છે તો સુરત અને મુંબઈ માં વસતા સૌરાષ્ટ્ર ના લોકો ના કારણે જ છે...
નહિતર તે લોકો ક્યારના દુકાળ માં ભીખ માંગતા હોય...
