As part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, I/C Darrangamela OP and I/C Kaurbaha PP conducted Cybercrime Awareness Programme at Darrangamela LP School and Khandikar Katkipar LP School.

The initiative aimed at sensitising students about the growing threat of cybercrime and promoting safe and responsible digital practices. The students was sensitised about online financial fraud, phishing, fake links, OTP scams, social media frauds and other emerging cyber threats, along with essential preventive measures.

Vehicle Recovery Case: During routine mobile patrolling, a team from Goreswar PS recovered an abandoned TATA 1916 truck (Registration No. AS 25FC 8276) with a suspiciously deshaped number plate along the Baihata Chariali–Bogamati PWD road near Gandhichowk. Upon verification, it was revealed that the vehicle had been hijacked and was linked to Changsari PS Case No. 241/26 under Section 303(2) BNS, as confirmed by OC Changsari PS.

Action Against Illicit Activities: Under the leadership of OC Tamulpur, a special drive against petty crime and illegal trade was conducted today. During a targeted search operation at Barkhopa, Tamulpur Police successfully seized 10 bottles of b**r (650 ml each) and 26 bottles of wh**ky (370 ml each).

Strict vigilance and enforcement drives will continue across the jurisdiction to maintain law and order.
