സ്റ്റേറ്റ് അഗ്രി ഹോർട്ടികൾച്ചറൽ സൊസൈറ്റി – കേരളയുടെ സാങ്കേതിക മാർഗനിർദേശത്തിലും പിന്തുണയിലും, തുറന്ന ജയിൽ & കറക്ഷണൽ ഹോം പരിസരത്ത് രൂപം കൊണ്ടുവരുന്ന “ഫ്രീഡം ബോട്ടാണിക്കൽ ഗാർഡൻ” പരിസ്ഥിതി സംരക്ഷണത്തെയും സാമൂഹിക പുനരധിവാസത്തെയും ഒരുമിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ശ്രദ്ധേയമായ പദ്ധതിയാണ്.
ഈ മഹത്തരമായ പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട ശ്രീ. ബൽറാം കുമാർ ഉപാധ്യായ IPS നിർവഹിച്ചു. പ്രകൃതിയുമായി ചേർന്ന് ജീവിക്കാൻ സഹായിക്കുന്ന ശാന്തവും സൗഹൃദപരവുമായ അന്തരീക്ഷം സൃഷ്ടിച്ച് തടവുകാരുടെ മാനസിക ആരോഗ്യവും പുനരധിവാസവും ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുകയാണ് ഈ ഗാർഡന്റെ ലക്ഷ്യം.
സസ്യ വൈവിധ്യം സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിനൊപ്പം, കാർഷിക-ഹോർട്ടികൾച്ചർ മേഖലയിലെ നവീന സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യകളും പ്രായോഗിക പരിചയങ്ങളും പ്രദർശിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഒരു കേന്ദ്രമായി ഈ ബോട്ടാണിക്കൽ ഗാർഡൻ മാറും. സാമൂഹിക ഉത്തരവാദിത്തത്തെയും പരിസ്ഥിതി ബോധത്തെയും പ്രതിഫലിപ്പിക്കുന്ന മികച്ച മാതൃകയായിത്തീരുമെന്നത് ഉറപ്പാണ്.

The “Freedom Botanical Garden”, being developed within the premises of the Open Jail & Correctional Home with the technical guidance and support of the State Agri Horticultural Society–Kerala, marks a significant step towards environmental sustainability and social rehabilitation.
The inauguration of this prestigious project was graciously performed by Shri Balram Kumar Upadhyay IPS. The garden is envisioned as a unique initiative that harmoniously blends nature with reformative practices, offering inmates a serene and positive environment that supports their mental well-being and rehabilitation.
In addition to conserving plant diversity, the botanical garden will serve as a practical platform for showcasing innovative techniques and advancements in agriculture and horticulture. This initiative stands as a model of eco-friendly development, reflecting a strong commitment to social responsibility and environmental awareness.

The Chairman of the State Agri Horticultural Society of Kerala received the prestigious award conferred by Kerala Kaumudi from the Honorable Governor of Kerala. The award recognizes the Society’s remarkable achievements in both agricultural and non-agricultural sectors, even during a challenging phase in the cooperative sector.
The honor was bestowed in recognition of the Society’s exemplary contributions to the overall development of the state, as well as its innovative initiatives that have driven progress across multiple sectors.
The Chairman stated that this achievement is the result of the collective and dedicated efforts of the Society’s leadership and its members. He further affirmed the Society’s continued commitment to implementing people-centric and result-oriented initiatives for the advancement of society in the future.

സഹകരണ മേഖലയിലെ പ്രതിസന്ധി ഘട്ടത്തിലും കാർഷികവും കാർഷികേതരവുമായ മേഖലകളിൽ ശ്രദ്ധേയമായ നേട്ടങ്ങൾ കൈവരിച്ച സ്റ്റേറ്റ് അഗ്രി ഹോർട്ടികൾച്ചറൽ സൊസൈറ്റി ഓഫ് കേരളയ്ക്ക് കേരള കൗമുദി നൽകിയ അവാർഡ് ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട കേരള ഗവർണ്ണറിൽ നിന്നും സൊസൈറ്റി ചെയർമാൻ ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങി.
സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ സമഗ്ര വികസനത്തിന് മാതൃകാപരമായ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ കാഴ്ചവെച്ചതിനും, നവോത്ഥാനപരമായ ഇടപെടലുകൾ വഴി വിവിധ മേഖലകളിൽ പുരോഗതി കൈവരിച്ചതിനുമുള്ള അംഗീകാരമായാണ് ഈ പുരസ്കാരം നൽകപ്പെട്ടത്.
സൊസൈറ്റിയുടെ നേതൃത്വവും പ്രവർത്തകരും ചേർന്നുള്ള ഏകോപിത ശ്രമങ്ങളുടെ ഫലമായാണ് ഈ നേട്ടമെന്ന് ചെയർമാൻ അറിയിച്ചു. ഭാവിയിലും കൂടുതൽ ജനകീയവും ഫലപ്രദവുമായ പദ്ധതികൾ നടപ്പിലാക്കി സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ മുന്നേറ്റത്തിന് സംഭാവന ചെയ്യുന്നതിൽ സൊസൈറ്റി പ്രതിബദ്ധമാണെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.
