Their resilience, faith, and silent sacrifices embody the very heart of love and devotion. We stand in profound gratitude for these incredible women who have given so much, holding them closely in our prayers and respect. 🎚️✨

Silver Star
When a person is ordained and commissioned as a Salvation Army Officer, their mother (or mentor) is admitted into this Fellowship. They are awarded a Silver Star brooch and a certificate as a deep expression of gratitude from the Church for releasing their child into full-time ministry and spiritual service.

Gold Star
This is a deeply respected and somber title. It bridges the traditional military custom (where a blue star turned to gold if a service member passed away) into the Salvation Army's "spiritual warfare." It honors the mother's profound personal sacrifice, recognizing that her child gave their life in active, faithful service to God and the Army until the very end

Today was incredibly special at The Salvation Army Trivandrum Central Corps! Our Youth Sergeant Major, youth leaders, and Sunday school teachers came together to surprise our amazing children and college students with special back-to-school gifts. 🎒☂️
From sturdy school bags to handy umbrellas, we wanted to make sure they are fully equipped, rain or shine, for the new academic year ahead. We are so proud of our youth and praying for a year filled with wisdom, growth, and endless blessings
