SFI CET UNIT INDEPEDENCE - DEMOCRACY - SOCIALISM SFI CET Unit is the Left-wing student organisation of College of Engineering Trivandrum. "Study... Struggle..."

Although the organisation was actively involved in resolving several conflicts related to the professional colleges since the beginning of 1970s, the CET unit of SFI was officially formed in 1977. The Student Federation of India as a whole represents the foundation of a reformist, democratic and libertarian education framework which will guarantee social equity and scholarly self reliance. It endeavors to accomplish this by joining the whole Indian graduate network towards the reason for a general and public system of schooling guaranteeing the right to education for all. The sustained protests and strong objections raised by students and the entire CET community have compelled the Government to acknowledge our concerns and engage with the issue. While this marks an important step, our struggle is far from over.

As part of taking this movement forward,we have launched a Mass Petition Campaign addressed to the Hon'ble Minister for Higher Education and other concerned authorities, demanding the complete withdrawal of the proposal to make CET a constituent college under KTU.

We appeal to every student to stand with this collective effort by signing the petition through the Google Form. Every signature strengthens our collective voice and reinforces our demand to protect the identity and future of CET.
