We sincerely thank Br. Joby Mathew Perumprayil for his dedicated service at our centre during the past 6 months.

He supported our Director Achan in a very responsible way and helped manage important projects like the solar and RO filter initiatives. His work has made a big difference to our centre.

He was also very caring and respectful towards the patients, always ready to help whenever needed.

We thank him for his valuable support and pray that God guides and blesses him in his priestly mission. He will be missed by everyone.

He was truly a blessing to us. As a talented artist, he conducted an art exhibition and donated the earnings to support our needy patients. His kindness and compassion towards the patients were very special.

He was always gentle, humble, and ready to help, even during emergencies. His life showed true faith in action.

We thank him for everything and pray that God blesses him in his priestly journey. He will be missed by all of us.

We were happy to welcome the Zafin team - Mr. Radhakrishna, Mr. Christy, and Mr. Pravish, who visited our center today to review their CSR initiatives: the solar plant installed a few months ago and the recently commissioned water treatment plant with RO filtration.

They were warmly welcomed by our Director, Fr. Thomaskutty, along with the team and the children staying at the center.

These initiatives are a great example of sustainability in action. Our center is now self-sufficient in electricity and water, with no dependency on KSEB power or Corporation water.

Zafin’s recent recognition with the Economic Times Sustainability Award speaks for itself, and we are proud that these projects align closely with Zafin’s sustainability objectives.

We express our heartfelt thanks to the Zafin team and their MD, Ms. Suja Chandy, for this great support. The savings from these initiatives will help us further strengthen the care and services we provide to our patients.

At our center, we are truly grateful to see our well-wishers coming forward to sponsor lunch for our patients and their bystanders. Today, it was especially heartening to witness the sponsors personally serving the meals - a beautiful gesture of compassion and care.

Moments like these remind us that kindness and humanity are still very much alive. 🙏

Today, we were delighted to welcome Mr. Shibu Mathew, Senior Vice President at Envestnet, along with his family to LMC, our cancer care home. Envestnet has been extending generous support for the welfare of our patients, and we are truly grateful for their continued commitment and compassion.

Our Director, Father Thomaskutty, briefed him about the facilities and holistic support provided to patients and their families at LMC.

We also sincerely thank Mr. Chintu Joy of Envestnet for coordinating the support with our centre. Their partnership means a great deal to us and to the families we serve.

A glimpse of a typical lunchtime at our center, where some choose to enjoy their meal in the calm and welcoming central open quadrangle, sharing moments of comfort, care, and togetherness.

At Lourdes Matha Cancer Home, we constantly strive to optimize our operational processes to better serve our patients. Recently, with the generous support of Zafin CoE, Technopark, we were able to install a solar plant at our center, bringing significant savings and a step forward in sustainable operations.

A heartfelt thanks to Ms. Suja Chandy, MD of Zafin, and her team, Mr. Radhakrishnan and Mr. Christy, for their active support. We also appreciate Futuretech Energy Solutions for the installation and technical assistance.

In this context, we are also very happy and would like to congratulate Zafin for recently winning the Economic Times Sustainability Award.

Our solar plant stands as a small but meaningful example of their commitment to sustainability.

It’s Onam time, and today we had the joy of sharing the festive spirit by distributing Onam kits to over 200 needy families at our center. As always, our afternoon lunch saw a warm and joyful gathering. Guided by our motto of extending the best care with compassion, we remain committed to supporting our patient inmates and wishing each of them a speedy recovery.

Wrapped up today’s free grocery distribution for over 200 needy families at our Cancer Center — a small step to support those in need.

We are both happy and sad to say goodbye to Jason and his family, who have been a great support to our Center. Jason joined us when he came here for his son’s treatment, and ever since, he and his family have been like one of our own.

While we’re sad to see them leave, we’re happy they are moving closer to their home town for the good of their family. We thank them for everything and wish them all the very best in the days ahead
