കഴിഞ്ഞ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ നടപ്പിലാക്കിയ മടവൂര്‍പാറ എക്കോടൂറിസം പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ അവസ്ഥ ശോചനീയമാണ്.
കുട്ടികള്‍ക്കായി ഇവിടെ നിര്‍മ്മിച്ച പാര്‍ക്കും ഉള്‍പ്പടെ പ്രദേശത്തിന്റെ മുഖം മാറ്റാന്‍ കഴിയുമായിരുന്ന ഒരു പദ്ധതിയാണ് ഈ സര്‍ക്കാരിന്റെ പിടിപ്പ്കേട് കൊണ്ട് നശിക്കുന്നത്. ഇടക്കാലത്ത് ആരംഭിച്ച നവീകരണ പ്രവത്ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ എവിടെയും എത്താത്ത അവസ്ഥയാണ്. സന്ധ്യ മയങ്ങിയാല്‍ ഇരുട്ടില്‍ മുങ്ങുന്ന ഇവിടെ എം.പി.ഫണ്ട് ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ഒരു ഹൈമാസ്റ് വിലക്ക് സ്ഥാപിക്കണമെന്ന ആവശ്യത്തിനു ഒരുപാട് കാലപ്പഴക്കമുണ്ട്.

Trivandrum Corporation started E waste collection from Technopark. Companies and individuals can contact Mr. Anoop Roy - 9388652432, he is in charge of e-waste collection.

In the 'Meet the Mayor' campaign organised by Prathidhwani today at Technopark, Honourable Trivandrum Mayor Mr.V.K.Prasanth patiently listened to all the concerns of Technopark society and ensured all his support.Technopark CEO Sri Girish Babu, G Tech Secretary Sri Anoop Ambika, Technopark BDM Sri Vasanth Varada, Technopark HR Manager Sri Abhilash, CEO's, Office bearers of different organisations in Technopark, Employees from different companies and Prathidhwani representatives attended the function and shared their feed backs and concerns .

Out of the different points discussed today Mayor declared the following mentioned below and will initiate the work at the earliest.

1. Will make “Karyavattom – Technopark back gate road “ a model road with the permission of University of Kerala

2. Will set up a good children's park in Kazhakoottam.

3. Prepaid auto counter at Kazhakoottam Junction.

4. Street lights problems will be solved by 2016 March.

5. To promote public transportation will plan for “Bus Day” with the help of KSRTC

6. Mayor assured to send the corporation dog squad team to Technopark this week itself to catch stray dogs.

7. Comfort station will plan near Village office Kazhaottam.

8. Bus terminal will be started at Kazhakoottam, founding stone laying on 10th February 2016.

9.Renovation of Nila Back gate ( California) - KSEB substation road

Also Thiruvananthapuram corporation will work along with technopark employees issues like More KSRTC buses to Technopark, More train stops to Kazhakoottam station etc.

Honorable Mayor Sri V K Prasanth also requested technopark employees to create software's which helps people of Trivandrum and requested to form technical team for corporation for interacting with people. He also requested to employees to take part in campaign to get smart city status for Thriuvananthapuram. He told Thriuvananthapuram is eligible to get metro status and we are lacking in branding Thiruvannathapuram.

Mayor welcomed all suggestions by employees and told suggestions are always welcome.
