MBA (Travel & Tourism) Admission at KITTS
Kerala Institute of Tourism & Travel Studies (KITTS), invites online applications for Two year full time MBA program in Travel & Tourism, affiliated to University of Kerala and approved by AICTE for 2020-22 admissions.
Graduates in any stream with 50% aggregate marks from a recognized University and a valid score in KMAT/CMAT are eligible. Final year degree students can also apply.

2019ൽ ടൂറിസം മേഖലയ്ക്ക് 372 കോടി രൂപ. ഇതിൽ 82 കോടി രൂപ മാർക്കറ്റിംഗ്‌. ടൂറിസം കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിലെ സൗകര്യങ്ങൾ വികസിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനായി 132 കോടി രൂപ വകയിരുത്തി. കണ്ണൂർ മുഴപ്പിലങ്ങാട് ടൂറിസം വികസനത്തിന് പ്രത്യേക പദ്ധതി ഈ വർഷം ആരംഭിക്കും. ആക്കുളം ടൂറിസം പദ്ധതി കിഫ്ബിയുടെ പരിഗണനയിലാണ്. DTPC കൾക്ക് 12 കോടി രൂപ വകയിരുത്തി. KTDC ക്ക് 8 കോടി രൂപ വകയിരുത്തി. ടൂറിസം ഡെസ്റ്റിനേഷനുകളുടെ മാനേജ്മെന്റ് പങ്കാളിത്തം KTDC ക്ക് നൽകും.

ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പിലെ പദ്ധതികള്‍ നടപ്പാക്കുന്നതില്‍ വിവിധ വകുപ്പുകളെ ഏകോപിപ്പിച്ച് സാങ്കേതിക അനുമതി പ്രക്രിയ വേഗത്തിലാക്കാന്‍ സാങ്കേതിക അനുമതി സമിതിയെ നിയമിച്ചു. ടൂറിസം ഡയറക്ടര്‍ പി.ബാലകിരണ്‍, പൊതുമരാമത്ത് വകുപ്പ് സൂപ്രണ്ടിംഗ് എഞ്ചിനീയര്‍ വി.വി ബിനു, പൊതമരാമത്ത് വകുപ്പ് റിട്ടയേര്‍ഡ് ചീഫ് എഞ്ചിനീയര്‍ മാധവന്‍പിള്ള, തദ്ദേശഭരണ വകുപ്പ് റിട്ടയേര്‍ഡ് ചീഫ് എഞ്ചിനീയര്‍ ജയചന്ദ്രന്‍നായര്‍, ടൂറിസം പ്ലാനിംഗ് ഓഫീസര്‍ വി.എസ് സതീഷ്, ടൂറിസം ഡയറക്ടര്‍ നിയോഗിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ആര്‍ക്കിടെക്ട് എന്നിവരാണ് സമിതിയിലെ അംഗങ്ങള്‍. വിവിധ വകുപ്പുകളില്‍ അനുമതിക്കായി കെട്ടികിടക്കുന്നത് മൂലം ടൂറിസം പദ്ധതികള്‍ അനിശ്ചിതമായി നീളുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് സാങ്കേതിക അനുമതി സമിതി രൂപീകരിക്കാന്‍ വിനോദ സഞ്ചാര വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രിയെന്ന നിലയിൽ ഞാൻ നിര്‍ദ്ദേശം നല്‍കിയത്.
