Our faculty members, Smt. L. Anithakumary and Dr. Sumalatha B S, have published an article titled “GST rate reduction will hit Kerala’s finances” in The Hindu businessline.

The article highlights that “As a consumption State, Kerala used to garner 33% of its tax revenues from the 28% bracket. The Centre and Finance Commission must compensate the State for its revenue loss.”

Our research scholar, Niveditha P S, presented her paper titled “Rethinking Reserve Autonomy in the Global South: Currency Composition of International Reserves” at the Pre-G20 Conference organised by International Development Economics Associates in Johannesburg, South Africa.
