World Population Day 2025 was celebrated at DCO Kerala on July 11 with the theme "Empowering young people to create the families they want in a fair and hopeful world."
The event featured a keynote address by Shri Georgekutty P.V., Joint Director, and felicitations by Smt. Anjali Jose, Executive Officer (Census), and Shri Haris K M, Deputy Director. A presentation on ‘Digital Census’ was given, followed by cultural programmes by staff. All officers and officials actively participated in the celebration.

Hosted students from Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Attukal, on World Population Day 2025 as part of our IEC Programme. The session featured an engaging introduction to Census operations by Sri Rajaumar C, ADCO (T), followed by a concept quiz conducted by Sri Hemanth Kumar K P, ADCO (T).

DCO Kerala is participating in the 3rd International Book Festival held from January 7 to 13 at Kerala Legislative Complex. Census 2011 Publications/CDs and Temple series publications are available for sale at discounted rates.

DCO केरल ने 2 से 18 सितंबर, 2024 तक हिंदी पखवाड़ा समारोह का आयोजन किया, जिसमें प्रतियोगिताओं और दो कार्यशालाओं की एक श्रृंखला शामिल थी। पखवाड़े समारोह का समापन 18.09.2024 को हुआ, जहां विजेताओं को प्रमाण पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया गया। होम मैगजीन-'केरल श्री' के 28वें संस्करण के मसौदे का भी अनावरण किया गया। DCO Kerala conducted the Hindi Fortnight Celebrations from September 2 to 18, 2024 featuring an array of exciting competitions and two insightful workshops.The fortnight Celebrations concluded on 18.09.2024 with a Valediction Ceremony where winners were felicitated with certificates. The draft of the 28th Edition of the Home Magazine-‘Keral Sree’ was also unveiled in the function.

Hindi Pakhwada 2024 was commenced at DCO Kerala on 02.09.2024 with a formal inauguration by Shri Georgekutty P V, Joint Director. Various competitions, workshops etc are being organized as part of this. Celebrations will be concluded on 18.09.2024 with a valedictory function.

Directorate of Census Operations, Kerala has been Awarded Third Prize for Best Hindi Journals (2021-22) First Prize for outstanding performance in the implementation of Official Language Hindi (2021-22) and Second Prize for outstanding performance in the implementation of Official Language Hindi (2022-23) “TOLIC Rajbhasha Puraskar Yojana, 2021-22 &2022-23. Also, Officers/Officials of DCO have also secured prizes in different competitions conducted under “Joint Rajbhasha Utsav,2022-23 and TOLIC Special Incentive Scheme for doing commendable work in Hindi for the year 2022-23. Prizes were distributed in First Half yearly meeting of TOLIC, Thiruvanathapuram 2024-25.

The 10th International Day for yoga was celebrated at DCO Kerala on June 21 from 10.30 am to 12.30pm. The theme of 10th International Yoga Day 2024 is "Yoga for Self and Society". Common Yoga Protocol was explained by Shri Madhukumar AD(IT). A practical Yoga Session with the help of videos by the Ayush Ministry was also conducted. All the Officers and Officials of the Directorate actively participated in the activities.

The 10th International Yoga Day 2024 will be celebrated at DCO Kerala on June 21 from 10.30 am onwards. The day aims to raise awareness about the numerous benefits of yoga, right from physical, mental, and spiritual. Each year, the International Day of Yoga is celebrated with a specific theme that focuses on various aspects of yoga and its benefits and the theme of 10th International Yoga Day 2024 is "Yoga for Self and Society,"

International Women’s Day 2024 was celebrated by Directorate of Census Operations, Kerala on 07.03.2024. Quiz and 'identification of Woman Personalities' competitions were held. Officers actively participated and the winners were awarded with prizes.

Two days training for SRS Supervisors on Verbal Autopsy (VA) was conducted on 5th and 6th March, 2024 at DCO Kerala.Officers and officials of DCO Lakshadweep also participated the training via MS Teams. Training was imparted by Dr. Nileena Koshy, Professor, Community Medicine, Government Medical College, Thrissur. Ms. Salini VK, Joint Director, Vital Statistics Division (SRS) was the observer from ORGI.

Republic Day Celebrations at DCO Kerala on 24.01.2024.

As part of the 75th Republic Day celebration, DCO Kerala organized the following programmes:
1. Presentation on the overview of Indian Constitution followed by Quiz Competition based on the presentation
2. Spot the places on the Indian Map
3. Match the Names of Personalities/Events/Places related to History of India from the jumbled lot of words
4. Patriotic group song
Prizes were awarded to the winners of the competitions.
All the Officers and Officials of the Directorate actively participated in the celebrations.

जनगणना कार्य निदेशालय, केरल द्वारा विश्व हिन्दी दिवस 2024 की आयोजन।
दिनांक 10.01.2024 को जनगणना कार्य निदेशालय, केरल द्वारा विश्व हिन्दी दिवस की आयोजन किया था। इस आयोजन के दौरान निदेशालय के संयुक्त निदेशक, श्री जॉर्जकुट्टी पी वी द्वारा विश्व हिन्दी दिवस की महत्व के बारे में संदेश दिया। इस कार्यक्रम में कार्यालय के उच्च अधिकारियों द्वारा इससे संबंध में भाषण की थी। विश्व हिन्दी दिवस के संबंध में भारत के प्रदान मंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी की संदेश पढ़ा था। इसके भाग में हिन्दी कविता पाठ एवं क्रॉस वर्ड पहेली प्रतियोगिताओं की आयोजन किया गया था। दोनों प्रतियोगिताओं में तीन -प्रथम, द्वित्तीय एवं तीसरा पुरस्कार प्रदान किया था। कार्यक्रम के कुछ तस्वीरें नीचे दी गई हैं।
