The Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Culture, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal visited the AnSI, WRC, Udaipur. He discussed the ongoing project proposed by NITI AAYOG and visited the Museum of AnSI, WRC, Udaipur.
He was kind in offering advice for the development and expansion of the museum. The Hon'ble Minister also planted a tree on our campus and motivated us to do more and more beneficial work for society and towards our motherland India.

Our former colleague who worked with Dr B. S. Guha, our founder Director.
Dr N. Kumar (popularly called Kumar Saab), former Deputy Director of the Anthropological Survey of India visited the WRC campus and met all colleagues on 02nd December 2022. The land on which the present campus has been built was procured during his tenure. He was sharing that he was one of the first batch students in Anthropology at Delhi University. Dr Guha was his examiner who appointed him first as a Trainee, then as the Senior Technical Assistant in the Anthropological Survey of India. He also shared briefly his experiences of working with several other Directors in the Anthropological Survey of India. He is suffering from Alzheimer's Disease. We wish him a long healthy life.
