Yesterday (15/05/2024) Mazbat excise team under the supervision of Superintendent of Excise, Udalguri intercepted a tata tiago. Ev car, 40 cases of can beer(500ml) and arrested one person under relevant section of the Assam Excise Act.

Combined excise team of Tangla circle, Bhergaon circle and Udalguri(s) conducted raid at Paneri chowk, Fulkuchi Bagicha(under paneri p.s), Dimakuchi weekly market, Berengajuli bazar, Bamunjuli Chowk under Dimakuchi P. S.

Following items seized/destroyed.
1) Id liquor - 120 litres
2) F. W - 180 litres
3) D. A destroyed - 4 Nos.
4) McDowell No-1(180ml) - 5 Nos.
5) Imperial black(180ml) - 5 Nos.
6) Beer sale in Bhutan(650ml) - 10 Nos.

Cases have been registered under proper section of the assam excise(amendment) act, 2018.
