What if reading together felt like a game, not homework? 📚

Our Festive Reading Challenge starts Oct 15 and runs till Nov 15, and it is completely free. 🌿

Here's how it works:
✨ Pick up your Reading Passport at Purple Space, or DM us "PASSPORT" and we'll send you the free PDF
✨ Do the squares in any order, together with your child
✨ Tick them off at home. No photos, no proof needed
✨ Four squares are stamped at the library: borrow a book, join a story circle or book swap, collect a Story Seed, and come to the finale on Nov 15
✨ Finish any 12 of the 16 squares by Nov 15

Every child who finishes gets a certificate with their name, a handmade crayon set and a free workshop entry. And every stamp is a chance to win a handmade crochet reading buddy. 🧶

No pressure. No perfect. Just stories, snuggles and little moments together. 🤍

Swipe through to see everything, save this post for later, and tag a family who would love it.

Sometimes, the most beautiful reading stories are not about how many books a child reads. 💜
They are about the little rituals that grow around books.

For Anushri Hegde and her two girls, reading has become part of bedtime, family outings, waiting rooms, play, imagination — and most importantly, connection.

“Books read together bond us all when we laugh or giggle together or feel for the character.” ❤️

Thank you, Anushri, for sharing your family's 5+ year journey with Purple Space.

Here’s to many more stories, little readers and moments together. 📚✨

Janani Farm wasn't on the calendar to teach anyone anything. We went to touch cows, laugh through some "Chhiii!" moments, walk further than a few little legs expected, and pass seedlings from hand to hand until they found soil.

Somewhere in there, our children found a little courage. So did a few of us grown-ups.

We ended the day the way we like to end most days here — sitting on the floor, sharing a meal, in no hurry to leave.

This is what nature and community look like when they grow the same slow way, together.

If you weren't with us this time, we'd love to have you at the next one. 🌱
