Pleased to share that the Special Leave Petition filed by the State of Uttar Pradesh against my client has been dismissed, thereby upholding the judgment in favour of the Respondent.

The matter arose from service jurisprudence concerning regularisation under the framework of the Uttar Pradesh Kshettra Panchayats and Zila Panchayats Adhiniyam, 1961 and related Rules. The challenge sought to assail the decision rendered by the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad.

The dismissal of the SLP before the Supreme Court of India reaffirms the settled position that equitable relief granted after due judicial consideration ought not to be lightly interfered with.

Grateful to have had the opportunity to represent the Respondent in a matter involving important questions of service law and statutory interpretation.

My sincere thanks to colleagues and instructing counsel for their valuable assistance throughout the proceedings.
