COF R-ABI Invites Applications for 11th SIP – FY 2026-27

COF R-ABI is pleased to announce applications for the 11th Startup Incubation Program (SIP) for the Financial Year 2026-27.

This program offers selected startups a platform to present their products and services nationwide, along with grant-in-aid support of up to ₹20 Lakh to accelerate growth and innovation.

Application Deadline: 22nd November 2026

Celebrating Milestones at R-ABI, College of Fisheries, Tripura

We are delighted to share that 18 startups of R-ABI, College of Fisheries, Tripura have been selected for Grant-in-Aid support of ₹117.00 Lakh (highest being Rs. 20 Lakh out of Rs. 25 Lakh) from the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer's Welfare, Government of India.

This round’s selection:

•Seed Stage: 4 startups
•Pre-seed Stage: 11 startups
•Student Startup: 3 startups

With this, R-ABI has now incubated 231 startups in total, of which 66 startups have secured Grant-in-Aid support worth ₹479 Lakh to date. This milestone reflects our growing impact in fostering agri-innovation and empowering entrepreneurs across the Northeast and beyond.

Heartiest congratulations to all the selected founders. Your vision, resilience, and commitment to solving real-world challenges in agriculture and allied sectors are truly commendable. We are proud to be part of your journey.

Our team is committed to driving innovation in the startup ecosystem, guided by Dr. Gusheinzed Waikhom, PI-CEO. Recently, we participated in the 2-day National Workshop on "Reimagining India's Agri-Incubation Ecosystem: Innovations, Good Practices and Future Pathways" (March 02-03, 2026) at MANAGE, Hyderabad. This provided a valuable opportunity to connect with esteemed mentors from leading incubators, including t-Hub, IKP, ICRISAT, AgHub, Wise Owl Consulting, T-Works and many more, facilitating knowledge sharing and networking.

Launch of R-ABI College of Fisheries, Lembucherra Calendar

The CoF R-ABI Calendar-2026 was formally launched by the Hon'ble DEE sir in a ceremony attended by the Dean, College of Fisheries, Lembucherra, and other senior officials of the University. This significant event marks a milestone in the journey of R-ABI, College of Fisheries, Lembucherra, as it continues to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in the agri-business sector.
