EC) to help the needy and helpless people among who face the crisis of BLOOD. It was not an easy path. Initially when started this YEC in 2004, we were few members in front of Blood donation but our dedication & humanity increases the Blood donors for last. Adolescents have been provided a forum to discuss their problems by way of Youth Express Club. They have been educated about Reproductive & Child Health (RCH), water & environmental Sanitation (WES), adult & Career education, Economic empowerment, Child Rights, Early childhood care & development, Greenery & Plantation, preparedness of Disaster, etc in alternate weekly sessions by our health motivator or campaigner. Youth Express Club (YEC) have been opened in rural & Slum areas in their respective Panchayat Bhawans / community hall / religious place / common place from where the youth may obtain guidance on a variety of issues, Organise workshop, seminar, rally, procession, etc. other health issues could be obtained to career opportunities. In our YEC we provide the tools of indoor and outdoor games, magazine, News paper, etc. SWADESH-MITRAM also organized workshop, seminar, rally, procession, Nukkad Natak, Roll Play, Audio Visuals for the eradication of illiteracy, dowry, female infanticide, female feticide, HIV/AIDS etc. SWADESH-MITRAM also organized Poster Drawing competition, Cultural Activities, Game & Quiz competition (only for Children), Awareness Rally and Campaign, NETWORKING with Government Stakeholder & N.G.Os., Print Media and Electronic Media Footage, quiz in school and college level. SWADESH-MITRAM also organized common birth day celebration and healthy baby show for proper health & hygienic care during pregnancy and after delivery of neonatal or early birth like cleanness, balance diet, Exclusive & Breast-feeding, immunization, etc. In this celebration we invite guardian with their children and local PRI members, Stakeholder for upliftment of the health level of the community. We have also communicating the massage of local healthy food and developed a package like rural cooking class in which our experts give tips to the adolescent about balance diet and the causes of mal nutrition. We also aware the community through the wall writing, pumlets, hording, media etc. We have also adopted Award and prize system for small achievement to win confidence of community and parents. SWADESH-MITRAM will continue to work for the healthy-socio-economic upliftment of women, adolescents and children at the grass root level.
