A NEW VISION FOR HEALTHCARE IN AMARAVATI.

Advanced eye care is taking shape in Amaravati with the LV Prasad Eye Institute – Sudha & Venkat Jasti Campus, bringing together patient care, research, medical education and rehabilitation.

The foundation stone was laid by Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu Garu, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, marking a significant step towards building a world-class healthcare ecosystem in the capital region.

With a 12-acre integrated campus, an Eye & Brain Centre and capacity to serve 300,000 patients annually, the project brings advanced care, innovation and greater access together.

Andhra Pradesh is strengthening its place on India’s maritime map.

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, a Navratna Defence PSU, is set to develop a greenfield shipyard at Dugarajapatnam, with a proposed investment of ₹15,000 crore over 5–7 years and the potential to create nearly 45,000 direct and indirect jobs.

Shipbuilding is a mother industry, driving steel, engineering, manufacturing, logistics and allied industries. With an established base in Visakhapatnam and a new greenfield cluster at Dugarajapatnam, Andhra Pradesh is expanding its maritime ecosystem and building capacity for India’s growing maritime economy.

A Major Boost to Andhra Pradesh’s Rail Connectivity

The Union Cabinet, chaired by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has approved the Arakkonam–Renigunta 3rd & 4th Line project, adding 77 km of rail capacity and strengthening connectivity to Tirupati.

Planned under the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan, the project is part of a larger push to expand and modernise India’s rail infrastructure, with a focus on seamless multimodal connectivity and improved logistics efficiency.

For Andhra Pradesh, this means better mobility, smoother movement of goods and people, stronger tourism connectivity and new opportunities for growth.
