اللجنة الفرعية في محافظة البصرة تواصل تنفيذ خطتها التدريبية الخاصة بمكافحة التطرف العنيف

برعاية السيد النائب الإداري لمحافظ البصرة الأستاذ ماهر العامري رئيس اللجنة الفرعية لمكافحة التطرف في البصرة، وضمن تنفيذ الاستراتيجية الوطنية لمكافحة التطرف العنيف المؤدي إلى الإرهاب، انطلقت بتاريخ ٢٠٢٦/٥/١٨ الخطة التدريبية الخاصة بتأهيل موظفي ديوان المحافظة بصفة عقود، بالتنسيق مع قسمي التدريب والتطوير وقسم إزالة آثار الحروب والألغام، وفق برنامج يمتد من شهر نيسان ولغاية شهر كانون الأول.

وشهدت الدورة تقديم المادة التدريبية من قبل عضو لجنة مكافحة التطرف السيدة حلا حميد الكامل، فيما تولت مقررة اللجنة السيدة أفراح فالح علي التعريف بمفهوم التطرف وأسبابه ومخاطره ومحاور الاستراتيجية الوطنية لمكافحة التطرف، إضافة إلى الإجابة عن الأسئلة والمداخلات، بمشاركة الأدبية خلود الشاوي المختصة بأدب الطفل.

وركزت الدورة على أهمية تعزيز السلام المستدام والتماسك الاجتماعي وقبول الآخر المختلف، فضلاً عن نشر ثقافة التسامح ونبذ الفرقة وخطابات الكراهية، بما يسهم في بناء بيئة مجتمعية أكثر وعياً واستقراراً.

The Subcommittee in Basra Governorate Continues Implementing its Training Plan for Combating Violent Extremism

Under the patronage of the Administrative Deputy Governor of Basra, Mr. Maher Al-Amiri, Head of the Subcommittee for Combating Extremism in Basra, and within the implementation of the National Strategy for Combating Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism, the training plan for qualifying contracted employees of the Governorate Office was launched on 18/5/2026, in coordination with the Training and Development Departments and the Department for the Removal of War and Mine Remnants, according to a program extending from April until December.

The course witnessed the presentation of the training material by the member of the Extremism Combating Committee, Ms. Hala Hamid Al-Kamil, while the committee rapporteur, Ms. Afrah Falih Ali, introduced the concept of extremism, its causes, dangers, and the axes of the National Strategy for Combating Extremism, in addition to answering questions and interventions, with the participation of the writer Khulood Al-Shawi, specialist in children’s literature.

The course focused on the importance of promoting sustainable peace, social cohesion, and acceptance of others who are different, in addition to spreading the culture of tolerance and rejecting division and hate speech, in a manner that contributes to building a more aware and stable community environment.

اللجنة الفرعية في محافظة البصرة تعقد اجتماعاً لتعزيز خطط مكافحة التطرف العنيف

بتوجيه من السيد النائب الإداري لمحافظ البصرة الأستاذ ماهر العامري رئيس اللجنة الفرعية لمكافحة التطرف في البصرة، عقدت اللجنة اجتماعاً موسعاً في مبنى ديوان المحافظة بحضور مقررة اللجنة السيدة أفراح فالح علي، لمناقشة آليات تنفيذ الاستراتيجية الوطنية لمكافحة التطرف العنيف المؤدي إلى الإرهاب وتطوير خطط العمل الخاصة باللجنة.

وشهد الاجتماع إضافة أعضاء جدد إلى اللجنة الفرعية، من بينهم ضباط من الأجهزة الأمنية في محافظة البصرة، إلى جانب مناقشة إطلاق مشروع رجال الدين والواعظات المرشدات الإسلاميات بعد عطلة العيد مباشرة، بتمويل من برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي (UNDP)، والذي سيشمل ستة أقضية في المحافظة مع إمكانية إضافة القضاء السابع ضمن مراحل التنفيذ المقبلة.

كما جرى التأكيد على أهمية إشراك مديرية الشباب والرياضة ومنظمات المجتمع المدني ضمن الخطة التدريبية الخاصة باللجنة.

The Subcommittee in Basra Governorate Holds a Meeting to Strengthen Plans for Combating Violent Extremism

Under the direction of the Administrative Deputy Governor of Basra, Mr. Maher Al-Amiri, Head of the Subcommittee for Combating Extremism in Basra, the committee held an expanded meeting at the Governorate Office building in the presence of the committee rapporteur, Ms. Afrah Falih Ali, to discuss mechanisms for implementing the National Strategy for Combating Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism and developing the committee’s work plans.

The meeting witnessed the addition of new members to the subcommittee, including officers from the security agencies in Basra Governorate, in addition to discussing the launch of the project of religious men and Islamic female guiding preachers immediately after the Eid holiday, with funding from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), which will include six districts in the governorate with the possibility of adding the seventh district within the upcoming stages of implementation.

It was also emphasized the importance of involving the Directorate of Youth and Sports and civil society organizations within the committee’s training plan.

اللجنة الفرعية في محافظة البصرة تواصل أنشطتها التوعوية لتعزيز ثقافة التسامح والسلام المجتمعي

برعاية مديرية شباب ورياضة البصرة وبالتعاون مع اللجنة الفرعية لمكافحة التطرف العنيف المؤدي إلى الإرهاب، أقام منتدى شط العرب جلسة نقاشية توعوية بعنوان "التسامح بين النساء وأثره في استقرار المجتمع"، وذلك يوم الأحد الموافق ٢٤/٥/٢٠٢٦، بإدارة المدربة صفا خليل عبد الزهرة.

وتضمنت الجلسة مناقشة مفهوم التسامح بوصفه قيمة أساسية تسهم في حماية المجتمع من التفكك وتعزيز التماسك الأسري والاجتماعي، مع التأكيد على دور المرأة في نشر ثقافة التعاطف والدعم المتبادل وتجاوز الخلافات بالحوار والهدوء بعيداً عن الكراهية والنزاعات.

كما تناولت الجلسة أهمية التسامح في تقليل المشكلات الاجتماعية ونشر المحبة والاحترام والسلام النفسي، إلى جانب استعراض وسائل تعزيز هذه القيم من خلال المؤسسات التعليمية ووسائل الإعلام ومنصات التواصل الاجتماعي، بما يسهم في بناء مجتمع أكثر استقراراً وتماسكاً.

The Subcommittee in Basra Governorate Continues its Awareness Activities to Promote the Culture of Tolerance and Community Peace

Under the patronage of the Basra Youth and Sports Directorate, and in cooperation with the Subcommittee for Combating Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism, Shatt Al-Arab Forum held an awareness discussion session entitled “Tolerance Among Women and its Impact on the Stability of Society” on Sunday 24/5/2026, managed by the trainer Safa Khalil Abdul Zahra.

The session included discussing the concept of tolerance as a fundamental value that contributes to protecting society from disintegration and enhancing family and social cohesion, with emphasis on the role of women in spreading the culture of empathy, mutual support, and overcoming disagreements through dialogue and calmness away from hatred and conflicts.

The session also addressed the importance of tolerance in reducing social problems and spreading love, respect, and psychological peace, in addition to reviewing ways of enhancing these values through educational institutions, media outlets, and social media platforms, in a manner that contributes to building a more stable and cohesive society.

اللجنة الفرعية في محافظة البصرة تواصل حملاتها التوعوية في المؤسسات الحكومية

برعاية الأستاذ ماهر العامري رئيس اللجنة الفرعية لمكافحة التطرف العنيف المؤدي إلى الإرهاب في محافظة البصرة، نظّمت لجنة مكافحة التطرف حملة توعوية في دائرة حماية وتحسين البيئة للمنطقة الجنوبية، ضمن جهودها المستمرة لنشر الوعي الفكري وتعزيز ثقافة الاعتدال والتسامح.

وتضمنت الحملة، التي نفذتها الست رشا عبد الحسين والست مواهب علي، توزيع الفولدرات والبوسترات التوعوية على الموظفين، فضلاً عن نشر المواد التثقيفية في لوحة الإعلانات داخل الدائرة، بهدف التوعية بمخاطر التطرف وآثاره السلبية على المجتمع.

وتأتي هذه المبادرة ضمن البرامج الهادفة إلى ترسيخ مفاهيم التعايش السلمي وتعزيز السلم المجتمعي داخل المؤسسات الحكومية، من خلال دعم الأنشطة التوعوية التي تسهم في بناء بيئة آمنة ومستقرة قائمة على قيم الاعتدال والانتماء الوطني.

The Subcommittee in Basra Governorate Continues its Awareness Campaigns in Government Institutions

Under the patronage of Mr. Maher Al-Amiri, Head of the Subcommittee for Combating Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism in Basra Governorate, the Extremism Combating Committee organized an awareness campaign in the Directorate of Environment Protection and Improvement for the Southern Region, within its continuous efforts to spread intellectual awareness and enhance the culture of moderation and tolerance.

The campaign, which was implemented by Ms. Rasha Abdul Hussein and Ms. Mawahib Ali, included distributing awareness folders and posters to employees, in addition to publishing educational materials on the bulletin board inside the directorate, with the aim of raising awareness about the dangers of extremism and its negative effects on society.

This initiative comes within programs aimed at consolidating the concepts of peaceful coexistence and enhancing community peace inside government institutions, through supporting awareness activities that contribute to building a safe and stable environment based on the values of moderation and national belonging.

اللجنة الفرعية في محافظة البصرة تواصل دعم الأنشطة الثقافية المعززة لقيم السلام والتسامح

برعاية الأستاذ ماهر العامري النائب الإداري لمحافظة البصرة، أُقيمت يوم الأحد الموافق ٢٤/٥/٢٠٢٦ ورشة ثقافية في منتدى أديبات البصرة بعنوان "القوة الناعمة وسيلة لنشر السلام والمحبة"، أدارتها الأديبة خلود الشاوي، ضمن الجهود الهادفة إلى تعزيز الوعي المجتمعي وترسيخ ثقافة التسامح والتعايش السلمي.

وتناولت الورشة أهمية الكلمة الواعية والفكر البنّاء في مواجهة التحديات المجتمعية، ودور الثقافة والأدب والفنون في نشر قيم المحبة والتآخي ونبذ الأفكار السلبية التي تؤثر على تماسك المجتمع واستقراره.

وشهدت الورشة نقاشات هادفة أكدت أهمية توظيف القوة الناعمة في بناء بيئة يسودها الوعي والسلام والاحترام المتبادل، بما يعزز روح الانتماء والتلاحم الإنساني ويدعم جهود نشر ثقافة الاعتدال والتسامح داخل المجتمع.

The Subcommittee in Basra Governorate Continues Supporting Cultural Activities that Promote the Values of Peace and Tolerance

Under the patronage of Mr. Maher Al-Amiri, the Administrative Deputy Governor of Basra, a cultural workshop was held on Sunday 24/5/2026 at the Basra Women Writers Forum entitled “Soft Power as a Means of Spreading Peace and Love,” moderated by the writer Khulood Al-Shawi, within efforts aimed at enhancing community awareness and consolidating the culture of tolerance and peaceful coexistence.

The workshop addressed the importance of conscious words and constructive thought in confronting societal challenges, and the role of culture, literature, and arts in spreading the values of love and brotherhood and rejecting negative ideas that affect the cohesion and stability of society.

The workshop witnessed purposeful discussions that affirmed the importance of employing soft power in building an environment dominated by awareness, peace, and mutual respect, in a manner that enhances the spirit of belonging and human cohesion and supports efforts to spread the culture of moderation and tolerance within society.

ضمن الجهود التوعوية الرامية إلى تعزيز الوعي المجتمعي بمخاطر التطرف والعنف، شاركت مقررة اللجنة الفرعية لمكافحة التطرف في محافظة البصرة السيدة أفراح فالح علي بعمود خاص في مجلة "الشبكة العراقية" الصادرة من العاصمة بغداد، تناول موضوع مكافحة التطرف والقضايا المرتبطة به.

وجاءت المشاركة بعنوان "الاتجار بالنساء طريق مظلم يقود إلى العنف والإرهاب"، حيث سلطت الضوء على خطورة هذه الظاهرة وانعكاساتها السلبية على المجتمع، إلى جانب بيان أهمية دور الأسرة والمؤسسات المجتمعية والأجهزة الأمنية في الحد من هذه الجرائم وتعزيز الحماية المجتمعية.

وأكدت اللجنة أهمية توظيف المنصات الإعلامية والثقافية في نشر الوعي وترسيخ قيم الاعتدال والتسامح، بما يسهم في مواجهة الأفكار المتطرفة وتعزيز الأمن المجتمعي والاستقرار.

The Subcommittee in Basra Governorate Continues its Awareness Activity through Media and Cultural Participation

Within the awareness efforts aimed at enhancing community awareness of the dangers of extremism and violence, the rapporteur of the Subcommittee for Combating Extremism in Basra Governorate, Ms. Afrah Falih Ali, participated with a special column in “Al-Shabaka Al-Iraqiya” magazine issued from the capital Baghdad, which addressed the subject of combating extremism and issues related to it.

The participation came under the title “Trafficking in Women: A Dark Path Leading to Violence and Terrorism,” where it highlighted the seriousness of this phenomenon and its negative repercussions on society, in addition to explaining the importance of the role of the family, community institutions, and security agencies in reducing these crimes and enhancing community protection.

The committee affirmed the importance of employing media and cultural platforms in spreading awareness and consolidating the values of moderation and tolerance, in a manner that contributes to confronting extremist ideas and enhancing community security and stability.

بتوجيه من السيد النائب الإداري لمحافظ البصرة الأستاذ ماهر العامري رئيس اللجنة الفرعية لمكافحة التطرف في البصرة، وضمن تنفيذ الاستراتيجية الوطنية لمكافحة التطرف المؤدي إلى الإرهاب، نفذت اللجنة الفرعية وبالتعاون مع منتدى عز الدين سليم في شمال البصرة ورشة توعوية وإرشادية بتاريخ ٢٠٢٦/٥/٢٤ حول دور المرأة الفاعل في بناء السلام.

وتناولت الورشة أهمية القرار الأممي ١٣٢٥ وخطة العراق الثالثة الخاصة بالمرأة العراقية، مع التركيز على الدور الحيوي الذي تؤديه المرأة داخل الأسرة والمجتمع وفي مختلف مجالات الحياة، بوصفها شريكاً أساسياً في تعزيز الاستقرار المجتمعي وترسيخ ثقافة الاعتدال والتسامح.

وأدارت الورشة مقررة اللجنة الفرعية السيدة أفراح فالح علي، حيث أشاد المشاركون بجهود اللجنة في إشراك الكوادر النسوية الفاعلة داخل المجتمع البصري، مؤكدين أهمية دور المرأة في بناء الأسرة والمجتمع وتعزيز مفاهيم السلام والتماسك المجتمعي.

The Subcommittee in Basra Governorate Organizes an Awareness Workshop on the Role of Women in Peacebuilding

Under the direction of the Administrative Deputy Governor of Basra, Mr. Maher Al-Amiri, Head of the Subcommittee for Combating Extremism in Basra, and within the implementation of the National Strategy for Combating Extremism Leading to Terrorism, the subcommittee, in cooperation with the Izz Al-Din Salim Forum in northern Basra, implemented an awareness and guidance workshop on 24/5/2026 regarding the effective role of women in peacebuilding.

The workshop addressed the importance of United Nations Resolution 1325 and Iraq’s Third National Action Plan concerning Iraqi women, with a focus on the vital role played by women within the family, society, and various fields of life, as they are considered an essential partner in enhancing community stability and consolidating the culture of moderation and tolerance.

The workshop was moderated by the rapporteur of the subcommittee, Ms. Afrah Falih Ali, where the participants praised the committee’s efforts in involving active female cadres within Basra society, affirming the importance of the role of women in building the family and society and enhancing the concepts of peace and community cohesion.

برعاية السيد النائب الإداري لمحافظ البصرة الأستاذ ماهر العامري رئيس اللجنة الفرعية لمكافحة التطرف في البصرة، وضمن تنفيذ الاستراتيجية الوطنية لمكافحة التطرف العنيف المؤدي إلى الإرهاب، تواصل اللجنة جهودها في تعزيز التعاون بين مؤسسات الدولة واللجان الفاعلة داخل المحافظة، من خلال تنفيذ الزيارات والبرامج المشتركة الهادفة إلى دعم فئة الشباب وتمكينهم.

وفي هذا الإطار، وبالتعاون مع شعبة شؤون المرأة والأسرة والطفل في مديرية الشباب والرياضة، زارت اللجنة منتدى عز الدين سليم في شمال البصرة، حيث جرى اللقاء بمدير المنتدى الأستاذ عماد الأسدي، لبحث آليات تنفيذ برامج تدريبية وتأهيلية تسهم في بناء جيل واعٍ يتمسك بقيم الانتماء الوطني والهوية الوطنية وروح المسؤولية المجتمعية.

وشهد اللقاء الاتفاق على إطلاق دورات مجانية للنساء تشمل الخياطة وتفصيل الألبسة والحلاقة والتجميل، بجهود ذاتية من كوادر المنتدى.

The Subcommittee in Basra Governorate Continues Strengthening Cooperation with Youth and Sports Forums to Support Community Development

Under the patronage of the Administrative Deputy Governor of Basra, Mr. Maher Al-Amiri, Head of the Subcommittee for Combating Extremism in Basra, and within the implementation of the National Strategy for Combating Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism, the committee continues its efforts to strengthen cooperation between state institutions and active committees within the governorate through conducting visits and joint programs aimed at supporting and empowering the youth category.

Within this framework, and in cooperation with the Women, Family and Child Affairs Division in the Directorate of Youth and Sports, the committee visited the Izz Al-Din Salim Forum in northern Basra, where a meeting was held with the forum director, Mr. Imad Al-Asadi, to discuss mechanisms for implementing training and qualification programs that contribute to building a conscious generation adhering to the values of national belonging, national identity, and the spirit of community responsibility.

The meeting witnessed an agreement to launch free courses for women including sewing, clothes tailoring, hairdressing, and beauty care, through self-efforts by the forum staff.

وشهد منتدى عز الدين سليم للشباب والرياضة في قضاء عز الدين سليم تنفيذ حملة توعوية بتاريخ ٢٠٢٦/٥/٢٤، تولت تنفيذها السيدة لينا العامري، تضمنت نشر البوسترات والإرشادات التثقيفية وتوزيع البروشورات التوعوية على المواطنين، بهدف تعزيز مفاهيم الانتماء الوطني والتسامح والتعايش السلمي ورفع مستوى الوعي الفكري والسلوكي.

وتأتي هذه المبادرات انسجاماً مع توجهات الحكومة المحلية في محافظة البصرة الداعمة للأنشطة التوعوية الهادفة إلى بناء بيئة آمنة وواعية ومستقرة، وترسيخ القيم الإنسانية التي تسهم في مواجهة الأفكار المتطرفة وتعزيز روح المسؤولية والانتماء الوطني وثقافة العمل التطوعي والجهد الذاتي.

The Subcommittee in Basra Governorate Continues its Awareness Programs at Izz Al-Din Salim Youth Forum

Under the patronage of the Administrative Deputy Governor of Basra, Mr. Maher Al-Amiri, Head of the Subcommittee for Combating Extremism in Basra, and in cooperation with the Directorate of Youth and Sports / Women, Family and Child Affairs Division, the committee continues implementing its awareness programs within the framework of institutional efforts aimed at enhancing community awareness and consolidating the culture of moderation and rejection of extremism.

The Izz Al-Din Salim Youth and Sports Forum in Izz Al-Din Salim District witnessed the implementation of an awareness campaign on 24/5/2026, carried out by Ms. Lina Al-Amiri, which included publishing posters and educational guidelines and distributing awareness brochures to citizens, with the aim of promoting the concepts of national belonging, tolerance, peaceful coexistence, and raising the level of intellectual and behavioral awareness.

These initiatives come in line with the directions of the local government in Basra Governorate supporting awareness activities aimed at building a safe, conscious, and stable environment, and consolidating humanitarian values that contribute to confronting extremist ideas and enhancing the spirit of responsibility, national belonging, the culture of voluntary work, and self-effort.

برعاية السيد مدير عام شركة نفط البصرة، أقامت لجنة مكافحة التطرف العنيف المؤدي إلى الإرهاب ندوة توعوية بعنوان "الإدمان الإلكتروني وتأثيره النفسي والسلوكي على الشباب"، ألقاها السيد علي عبد الحسن مدهوش مدير قسم الجودة والتطوير المؤسسي ومدير مؤسسة أثر للتنمية والتدريب، ضمن البرامج الهادفة إلى تعزيز الوعي المجتمعي والوقاية من الظواهر السلوكية الحديثة.

وتناولت الندوة الآثار النفسية والسلوكية الناتجة عن الاستخدام المفرط للوسائل الإلكترونية لدى فئة الشباب، وما يرافق ذلك من تأثيرات على التركيز والإنتاجية والعلاقات الاجتماعية، إلى جانب التأكيد على أهمية الاستخدام الواعي والمسؤول للتكنولوجيا وتوظيفها بشكل إيجابي يخدم الفرد والمجتمع.

وأكدت اللجنة أهمية دور المؤسسات في نشر الثقافة الرقمية السليمة وتعزيز بيئة داعمة للتوازن بين الحياة الواقعية والاستخدام الإلكتروني، بما يسهم في بناء مجتمع أكثر وعياً واستقراراً، ويرسخ قيم الاعتدال والسلم المجتمعي.

The Subcommittee in Basra Governorate Continues its Awareness Programs to Reduce Negative Behavioral Phenomena

Under the patronage of the Director General of Basra Oil Company, the Committee for Combating Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism held an awareness seminar entitled “Electronic Addiction and its Psychological and Behavioral Impact on Youth,” delivered by Mr. Ali Abdul Hassan Madhoush, Director of the Quality and Institutional Development Department and Director of Athar Foundation for Development and Training, within programs aimed at enhancing community awareness and preventing modern behavioral phenomena.

The seminar addressed the psychological and behavioral effects resulting from the excessive use of electronic وسائل by the youth category, and the accompanying impacts on concentration, productivity, and social relationships, in addition to emphasizing the importance of conscious and responsible use of technology and employing it positively in a manner that serves the individual and society.
