The Philippine Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq, informs the public that the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines has launched the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority Electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) intended for use in countries that are Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.

In view of this development, the public is advised of the following:
1. Iraq is a Non-Contracting Party to the Apostille Convention.
2. For documents intended for use in Iraq, the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines will issue a paper-based Certificate of Authentication for PSA eCertificates and CHED eCAVs.
3. After the issuance of the Certificate of Authentication by the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines, the document has to be submitted to the Embassy of [country] in Manila for legalization process.

Applicants are advised to verify the specific requirements of the receiving authority in Iraq prior to submission of their documents. END

تعلن سلطة الطيران المدني العراقي عن إعادة فتح الأجواء العراقية أمام حركة الملاحة الجوية ابتداءً من اليوم، وذلك بعد استقرار الأوضاع وعودة الظروف إلى طبيعتها.

وبموجب هذا الإجراء يُسمح باستئناف جميع الرحلات الجوية المدنية بما يشمل العبور والإقلاع والهبوط في المطارات العراقية وفقاً للضوابط والتعليمات المعتمدة.

وتؤكد سلطة الطيران المدني العراقي التزامها الكامل بتطبيق أعلى معايير السلامة والأمن الجوي وبالتنسيق المستمر مع المنظمات الدولية ذات العلاقة بما يضمن انسيابية وكفاءة حركة النقل الجوي.

The Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority announces the reopening of Iraqi airspace to air traffic effective today, following the stabilization of the situation and the return of conditions to normal.
Under this measure, all civil flights are permitted to resume, including overflights, takeoffs, and landings at Iraqi airports, in accordance with the approved regulations and instructions.
The Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority reaffirms its full commitment to implementing the highest standards of aviation safety and security, in continuous coordination with relevant international organizations, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of air traffic.

The Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority announces the extension of the closure of Iraqi airspace to all arriving, departing, and overflying aircraft for a period of (72) hours, starting from 12:00 noon on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 (09:00 UTC) until 12:00 noon on Friday, April 3, 2026, as a temporary precautionary measure.
This decision comes based on the continuous assessment of the security situation and developments in the regional environment, and it will be reviewed in accordance with any new updates.
Airlines and relevant stakeholders will be notified of any further updates.

The National Authority:
No indicators of radioactive contamination in Iraq and full readiness to respond to emergencies

With the developments of the course of the war and the continuation of bombardment operations on Iranian nuclear facilities by American aircraft and the Israeli entity, the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization has confirmed to us—through the International Atomic Energy Agency—the occurrence of several attacks on nuclear facilities, namely: the yellowcake production facility in Yazd Province, the Bushehr power plant, and the iron and steel plant in Khuzestan which contains radioactive sources for calibration. No release of any radioactive materials or radioactive contamination has occurred, and our early warning systems have not recorded any increase in radiation levels.

We affirm the readiness of the nuclear and radiological emergency operations room through our systems, in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency and the global early warning network that covers Iraq and Jordan (at the closest point to the Israeli Dimona reactor) and the Arabian Gulf (at the closest point to the Bushehr nuclear power plant), to provide early detection of any changes in radiation levels. The required measures have been taken by the relevant security authorities through the emergency operations room, in accordance with security requirements, developments of the situation, and the nuclear and radiological emergency plan.

الهيأة الوطنية:
لا مؤشرات على تلوث إشعاعي في العراق وجاهزية تامة لمواجهة الطوارئ

مع تطور مجريات الحرب وتواصل عمليات القصف على المنشات النووية الإيرانية من قبل الطيران الأمريكي والكيان الإسرائيلي فقد تم تأكيد هيئة الطاقة النووية الإيرانية المبلغ الينا عن طريق الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية لعدة هجمات لمنشات نووية هي منشأة تصنيع الكتلة الصفراء في محافظة يزد ومحطة كهرباء بوشهر ، ومعمل الحديد والصلب في خوزستان الذي يحتوي على مصادر مشعة للتقييس ولم يتم تأشير أي قرائات لأي مواد مشعة او تلوث اشعاعي كما لم يؤشر من خلال منظومات الإنذار المبكر لدينا أي زيادة في مستويات الاشعاع .

نؤكد جاهزية غرفة الطوارئ النووية والاشعاعية من خلال منظوماتنا بالتعاون مع الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية وشبكة الإنذار المبكر العالمية التي تغطي مساحة العراق والأردن (في اقرب نقطة لمفاعل ديمونة الإسرائيلي) والخليج العربي (في اقرب نقطة لمحطة بوشهر الكهرونووية) في الكشف المبكر لأي تغير في مستويات الاشعاع ، وقد تم اتخاذ الإجراءات المطلوبة من قبل الجهات الأمنية ذات العلاقة من خلال غرفة الطوارئ وحسب المتطلبات الأمنية وتطور الحالة وحسب خطة الطوارئ النووية والاشعاعية .

Pinapaalalahanan ang mga Filipino sa Iraq na huwag mag post sa social media ng kahit anong video o larawan ng mga atake sa bansa.

Ito ay alinsunod sa patakaran ng bansang Iraq na binahagi ng kanilang Ministri ng Panloob. Kung sino man ang lumabag sa patakarang ito ay maaaring kasuhan ng Iraq.

All Filipinos in Iraq are reminded to avoid posting of any videos and pictures of attacks in the country.

This is in line with the regulations set by the Iraqi Government, thru its Ministry of Interior. The Iraqi Government may file cases against those found in violation of said regulation.
