مدرسة الموهوبين / البصرة Gifted students school in basra

اعتادت مدرسة الموهوبين في البصرة أن تُتحف المحافظة بإنجازاتها التي تليق باسمها، حيث شارك عدد من طلابها المبدعين في مسابقة أقامتها مدارس أيشق في مجال الرياضيات على مستوى العراق، وقد حصد طلابنا جوائز ومراكز متقدمة.
فقد حصل الطالبان القاسم منتظر وأحمد ماجد ( الصف الخامس الإعدادي ) على الميدالية الذهبية ، كما نال الطالب حسين حارث ( الصف الثاني المتوسط ) الميدالية الذهبية أيضًا.
وحصل الطالب هادي صفاء ( الصف الخامس الإعدادي ) على الميدالية الفضية، فيما أحرز الطالب علي منتظر ( الصف الرابع العلمي ) الميدالية الفضية ضمن الربع الأول من الفائزين في المسابقة.
كما حصل الطالب حسين نوار (الصف الخامس الإعدادي) على الميدالية البرونزية.
وبهذا المنجز العلمي اللافت، اختتم طلابنا الأبطال عامهم الدراسي مكللًا بالنجاح، وهم يتطلعون إلى المزيد من الطموحات والإنجازات العلمية.
فللموهوبين بصمة ستبقى مضيئة في سماء البصرة وتاريخها المشرق.

The Gifted Students' School of Basra has always delighted the province with achievements worthy of its name. A number of its talented students participated in a mathematics competition organized by Basra Ishik Schools at the national level, where our students won outstanding awards and advanced positions.
Students Al-Qasim Muntadhar and Ahmed Majid (5th preparatory grade) won the gold medal, while student Hussein Harith (2nd intermediate grade) also received a gold medal.
Student Hadi Safaa (5th preparatory grade) won the silver medal, and student Ali Muntadhar (4th scientific grade) achieved a silver medal within the top quarter of the competition winners.
Student Hussein Nawar (5th preparatory grade) also earned the bronze medal.
With this remarkable academic achievement, our champion students concluded their school year crowned with success, while looking forward to even greater ambitions and scientific accomplishments.
The gifted students continue to leave a shining mark in the sky of Basra and in its bright history.

إشارةً إلى اهتمام إدارة وكادر مدرسة الموهوبين في البصرة بتفعيل دور المحاضرات التثقيفية وورش العمل في دعم العملية التعليمية والتربوية، تمّ في يوم الأربعاء المصادف (8 / نيسان / 2026) إقامة ورشة عمل بعنوان:

(فكّر كعالم واكتب كباحث)
Think Like a Scientist, Write Like a Researcher
قدّمتها المدرس الدكتور نسرين جبار حسين عبدالله، اختصاص اللغة الإنكليزية، تخصص دقيق: علم اللغة الأسلوبي.

محاور الورشة:

أولًا:
تناول مفهوم البحث العلمي، وبيان كيفية انتقال الطالب الموهوب من متلقٍ للمعلومة إلى باحث قادر على طرح الأسئلة العلمية وتنظيم أفكاره بصورة منهجية.

ثانيًا:
عرض الأسس الصحيحة لكتابة عنوان البحث (Research Title) وصياغة سؤال البحث (Research Question)، مع التركيز على الانتقال من العمومية إلى التحديد والدقة في اختيار الموضوع.

ثالثًا:
التعريف بالبنية الأساسية للبحث العلمي (Introduction, Method, Results, Discussion)، وبيان كيفية استخدام اللغة الأكاديمية الإنجليزية في عرض الأفكار العلمية بصورة واضحة ومنظمة.

رابعًا:
تطبيقات عملية، حيث تم إشراك الطلبة في أنشطة تفاعلية هدفت إلى تدريبهم على:
• اختيار موضوع علمي مناسب
• صياغة عنوان بحثي دقيق
• كتابة سؤال بحث واضح وقابل للدراسة

الخلاصة:
خلصت الورشة إلى أن الطلبة الموهوبين يمتلكون قدرات علمية ومعرفية متميزة، إلا أن التحدي يكمن في قدرتهم على التعبير عن هذه المعارف بأسلوب أكاديمي منظم. وعليه، فإن تنمية مهارات الكتابة العلمية باللغة الإنجليزية تُعد خطوة أساسية لتحويل أفكار الطلبة إلى بحوث رصينة، وتمكينهم من التفكير والكتابة كباحثين حقيقيين.
كما تجدر الإشارة إلى أن هذه الورشة تمثل جزءًا من سلسلة محاضرات تدريبية مستمرة، تهدف إلى تطوير مهارات الطلبة بشكل تدريجي، حيث تُعد هذه المحاضرة خطوة أولى ضمن برنامج متكامل لتعليم أسس كتابة البحث العلمي بصورة منهجية واحترافية.

In line with the administration and staff’s commitment at the Gifted Students’School in Basra to enhancing the educational process through academic lectures and workshops, a workshop entitled:

“Think Like a Scientist, Write Like a Researcher”

was conducted on Wednesday (8th of April, 2026) by Dr. Nissrine Jabbar Hussein Abdullah, Lecturer in English Language, specializing in Stylistic Linguistics.

Workshop Themes:
First:
An introduction to the concept of scientific research and how gifted students can move from being passive recipients of knowledge to active researchers capable of asking scientific questions and organizing their ideas systematically.

Second:
An explanation of the key principles for writing an effective research title and formulating a clear research question, with emphasis on moving from general topics to more specific and focused research areas.

Third:
An overview of the basic structure of scientific research (Introduction, Method, Results, and Discussion), along with guidance on using academic English to present scientific ideas clearly and systematically.

Fourth:
Practical applications, where students participated in interactive activities aimed at training them to:
• Select an appropriate scientific topic
• Formulate a precise research title
• Write a clear and answerable research question

Conclusion:
The workshop concluded that gifted students possess strong scientific knowledge and intellectual abilities; however, the main challenge lies in their ability to express this knowledge through well-structured academic writing.
Therefore, developing scientific writing skills in English is essential for transforming students’ ideas into solid research and enabling them to think and write as real researchers.
It is worth noting that this workshop is part of an ongoing series of training sessions aimed at progressively developing students’ skills. This session represents the first step in a comprehensive program designed to teach them how to write scientific research in a systematic and professional manner.
