We are committed to providing service to Kurdish communities locally.
Our local legend Tamar shares his thoughts on Kurdistan and the millions of active land mines surrounding the region. He has a hope that Kurdistan can be cleared of mines one day soon.
We love and cherish the Kurdish culture.
It's an honor to assist in local projects such as this.
The local library was in desperate need of restoration. Thousands of books & resources have been saved.
Thank you to all who supported this project.

FROM DOHUK:
"A beautiful family with 6 children and one on the way. We asked them to weigh the boy and they brought out the scales their dad uses to weigh fish that he sells at the market! It did the trick! Pray for this family.... the markets aren’t open because of Corona. Very hard times for many people in Kurdistan."

After the flood in Dohuk, we had the opportunity to spend time with a family that was struggling with more than just physical needs. We realized the opportunity we had to handout these food packages led to spiritually encouraging a family that needed more than food, they needed hope.
Recently there was flooding in the neighborhood of our city. When the water swept down the street it took out cars and damaged the homes of an already struggling part of town. We were able to scout the area and find out that there were several families that were in need of basic food items.
We had so much fun visiting patients in their homes today. We translated between four languages represented amongst the team and laughed as we dared to tell the patients that they needed to change their diets to help with their diabetes.
