Another outstanding meeting with the Peshmerga Media, National Awareness and the communications professionals of the M6 Directorate. Truly a pleasure to work with such dedicated leaders.

Coalition Advisors inspect ammunition warehouses with Maj. Gen. Hoshmend, a leader with the Ministry of Peshmerga at a warehouse. MAG-N advisors went to the ammunition warehouses to see the operations, and to advise the Peshmerga forces on proper storage of ammunition, shelf life, and hazard management, in support of the CJTF - OIR’s advise, assist, and enable mission.

Maj. Muzhda, Peshmerga all-female battalion commander, introduces her battalion to members of the Joint Operation Command Advisor Team North (JOCAT-N) in Sulaymaniyah. JOCAT-N visited the female peshmerga battalion to bring awareness and discuss with them structures, organization and potential improvements.

Sustainment advisors work closely with their Peshmerga logistics counterparts to ensure materiel and equipment is at the right place at the right time, every time.

Peshmerga soldiers participate in a graduation ceremony of the 1st Support Force Command in Erbil in January. Coalition members of the Military Advisor Group - North, and the MoPA director of the Media Centre visited the all-female Zerevani Peshmerga Company to learn about their role, training, readiness and delivery of security which is essential in the sustained defeat of Daesh contributing to regional stability. The Coalition is committed to advising, assisting and enabling Peshmerga Partner Forces, which represent the breadth and values of the Kurdish people.

A Peshmerga logistics officer verifies the amount of ammunition being divested. The Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve’s CTEF program has divested more than $500 million of equipment, vehicles, weapons and ammunition in an effort to advise, assist, and enable partner forces in the enduring defeat of Daesh.
