- حين ينتصر الحوار على التطرف, آفاق الوعي والتعايس في جامعة الموصل!

في إطار الجهود الرامية إلى تعزيز الوعي المجتمعي وترسيخ ثقافة الحوار البنّاء، نُظّم مركز متطوعي طوبزاوة جلسة حوارية بعنوان ، بالتعاون مع جامعة الموصل / كلية الآداب بجامعة الموصل / قسم علم الاجتماع بجامعة الموصل، وبمشاركة نخبة من أساتذة الكلية وعدد من طلبتها.

هدفت الجلسة إلى تسليط الضوء على مخاطر التطرف الفكري، واستكشاف أسبابه وآثاره على الفرد والمجتمع، فضلاً عن تعزيز ثقافة الحوار وقبول الآخر، بما يسهم في ترسيخ قيم الاعتدال والتعايش السلمي. كما شهدت الجلسة نقاشات ثرية وتبادلاً للأفكار والرؤى، ركّزت على دور المؤسسات الأكاديمية في بناء مجتمع أكثر وعياً واستقراراً.

يأتي هذا النشاط تأكيداً على الدور الحيوي الذي تضطلع به المؤسسات التعليمية في مواجهة التحديات الفكرية، وتعزيز قيم التسامح والانفتاح، بما يواكب تطلعات المجتمع نحو مستقبل يسوده الأمن الفكري والتماسك المجتمعي.

- When Dialogue Prevails Over Extremism: Horizons of Awareness and Coexistence at the University of Mosul!

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance community awareness and promote a culture of constructive dialogue, the Tobzawa Volunteer Center organized a panel discussion titled , in collaboration with the University of Mosul / College of Arts / Department of Sociology, with the participation of a distinguished group of faculty members and a number of students.

The session aimed to shed light on the dangers of intellectual extremism, explore its causes and impacts on both individuals and society, and promote a culture of dialogue and acceptance of others. These efforts contribute to reinforcing the values of moderation and peaceful coexistence. The discussion also featured rich exchanges of ideas and perspectives, emphasizing the role of academic institutions in building a more aware and stable society.

This activity comes as a reaffirmation of the vital role educational institutions play in addressing intellectual challenges and promoting values of tolerance and openness, in line with society’s aspirations toward a future characterized by intellectual security and social cohesion.

- فرحة العيد تصل القلوب الصغيرة، 300 كسوة ترسم البسمة على وجوه الأيتام!

قام مركز متطوعي المحلبية بتوزيع 300 قطعة من الملابس والأحذية ضمن حملة "كسوة العيد" المخصصة للأطفال الأيتام، بهدف إدخال الفرحة إلى قلوبهم ومشاركتهم أجواء العيد السعيدة.

وقد شهدت المبادرة أجواءً مفعمة بالبهجة والسرور، حيث ارتسمت الابتسامة على وجوه الأطفال وهم يتسلمون كسوتهم الجديدة، في خطوة تعزز قيم التضامن الاجتماعي وتؤكد أن العيد يكتمل بفرحة الجميع.

وتأتي هذه المبادرة ضمن سلسلة من الأنشطة الإنسانية التي يواصل مركز متطوعي المحلبية تنفيذها لدعم الفئات الأكثر احتياجًا، وترسيخ ثقافة العطاء والعمل التطوعي في المجتمع.

- Eid Joy Reaches Little Hearts: 300 Outfits Bring Smiles to Orphaned Children!

Al-Mahlibiya Volunteers Center distributed 300 pieces of clothing and shoes as part of the "Eid Clothing" campaign dedicated to orphaned children, with the aim of bringing joy to their hearts and allowing them to share in the happiness of Eid.

The initiative was filled with an atmosphere of happiness and excitement, as smiles spread across the children’s faces while receiving their new outfits. This step reflects the values of social solidarity and reinforces the idea that Eid is truly complete when everyone shares in its joy.

This initiative comes as part of a series of humanitarian activities carried out by Al-Mahlibiya Volunteers Center to support the most vulnerable groups and to promote a culture of giving and volunteerism within the community.

لم يخلُ عملنا يومًا من الاهتمام بقضايا المرأة في العراق والعالم، إذ نؤمن بضرورة الوقوف على مسافة واحدة من الجميع لنُسهم بفاعلية في إنهاء العنف ضد المرأة وتحقيق المساواة بين الجنسين. ومع كل خطوة نخطوها، يبقى التزامنا راسخًا في الدفاع عن كرامة المرأة وحقوقها، وتعزيز حضورها في مختلف مجالات الحياة العامة.

في ظل التحديات الكبيرة التي تواجهها المرأة العراقية اليوم، لا سيما في سياقات الأزمات والنزاعات التي شهدها العراق خلال السنوات الأخيرة، ما زالت النساء يتحملن أعباء مضاعفة. فقد تعرضت الكثير منهن لمختلف أشكال العنف والانتهاكات، من التهجير القسري وفقدان سبل العيش، إلى العنف الأسري والمجتمعي، فضلًا عن التمييز الذي يحدّ من مشاركتهن الكاملة في صنع القرار.

كما لم تسلم الناشطات والمدافعات عن حقوق الإنسان من الاستهداف والترهيب، حيث واجهن حملات تشويه وتهديدات مباشرة وغير مباشرة بسبب مواقفهن المطالِبة بالعدالة والمساواة والإصلاح. ورغم هذه التحديات، واصلت النساء العراقيات رفع أصواتهن والعمل بشجاعة في ميادين المجتمع المدني، مقدمات نماذج ملهمة للصمود والإصرار.

وفي ظل هذه التوترات والظروف المعقدة، نقف اليوم تضامنًا مع المرأة العراقية؛ نُكرّم صمودها، ونعزّز أصواتها، وندعم حقها في الأمان والكرامة والمشاركة الكاملة في بناء مستقبل البلاد. فمن خطوط المواجهة في الأزمات إلى مساحات التمكين في المجتمع، أثبتت النساء أنهن شريكات أساسيات في صنع التغيير.

إن الاحتفال اليوم بيوم المرأة العالمي هو أيضًا مناسبة للتأكيد على ما تحقق من إنجازات بفضل جهود النساء والمنظمات النسوية والمجموعات والناشطات اللواتي ساهمن في إحداث تحولات مهمة في قضايا المجتمع المدني، وفتح مساحات أوسع للحوار والدفاع عن الحقوق.

كمنظمة نجدد التزامنا الثابت بمواصلة العمل من أجل مستقبل أكثر عدلًا وإنصافًا، مستقبلٍ تنهار فيه الحواجز أمام النساء، وتُصان فيه حقوقهن، وتزدهر فيه كل امرأة في العراق بحرية وأمان ومساواة.
Our work has never been devoid of engagement with women’s issues in Iraq and around the world. We remain committed to standing at an equal distance from all sides in order to contribute meaningfully to ending violence against women and achieving gender equality. At every step, our dedication remains firm in defending women’s dignity and rights and in strengthening their presence across all spheres of public life.

Amid the significant challenges facing Iraqi women today particularly in the context of the crises and conflicts the country has experienced in recent years women continue to bear disproportionate burdens. Many have been subjected to various forms of violence and violations, including forced displacement, loss of livelihoods, domestic and societal violence, as well as discrimination that limits their full participation in decision-making processes.

Women activists and human rights defenders have also not been spared from intimidation and targeting. Many have faced smear campaigns, harassment, and direct and indirect threats because of their courageous advocacy for justice, equality, and reform. Despite these pressures, Iraqi women have continued to raise their voices and work bravely within civil society, offering inspiring examples of resilience, determination, and leadership.

In the face of these tensions and complex realities, we stand today in solidarity with Iraqi women. We honor their resilience, amplify their voices, and support their right to safety, dignity, and full participation in shaping the future of their country. From the frontlines of crises to the corridors of empowerment, women have proven themselves to be essential partners in driving meaningful change.

As we celebrate International Women’s Day today, we also take pride in the achievements made through the tireless efforts of women’s organizations, feminist groups, and dedicated activists who have contributed to transformative progress across civil society and expanded spaces for dialogue, advocacy, and the defense of rights.

As We continue to work toward a more just and equitable future one where barriers fall, rights are protected, and every woman in Iraq can thrive in freedom, safety, and equality.

في اليوم العالمي لحقوق الإنسان، ما زال العراق يواجه تحديات كبيرة في مجال حماية حقوق الإنسان والدفاع عن المدافعين عنها. ورغم هذه الصعوبات، فإننا نواصل عملنا بكل التزام لحماية وصون هذه الحقوق، إيماناً منا بأنها الأساس لتحقيق العدالة والمساواة وبناء مجتمع يسوده السلام والاحترام.

لقد أصبحت حقوق الإنسان جزءاً لا يتجزأ من حياتنا اليومية، ومسؤوليتنا المشتركة هي تعزيزها والدفاع عنها لضمان مستقبل أكثر كرامة وإنصافاً للجميع.

On International Human Rights Day, Iraq continues to face significant challenges in protecting human rights and safeguarding those who defend them. Despite these obstacles, we remain committed to preserving and promoting these rights, believing that they are essential for achieving justice, equality, and a society grounded in peace and respect.

Human rights have become an integral part of our daily lives, and it is our shared responsibility to uphold and protect them to ensure a future of dignity and fairness for all.

- جسور التطوّع: حكاية شباب يصنعون السلام في العراق!
منذ التسعينيات عملنا على بناء شبكة واسعة من المتطوعين، في إطار تأسيس المجتمع المدني العراقي، وما زلنا حتى اليوم ندعم مفهوم التطوّع إيمانًا منّا بدوره المحوري في تحقيق الاستقرار.
وفي عام 2021 أطلقنا برنامج متطوّعي منظمة ، إذ استقبلنا أكثر من 15,000 طلب من مختلف محافظات العراق للانضمام إلى مسيرة خدمة مدنهم ومجتمعاتهم. وبعد ذلك أسّسنا أحد عشر مركزًا للتطوع بدأت في نينوى، ثم ديالى، فبغداد، فالبصرة، وصولًا إلى الأنبار. وقد مثّلت هذه المراكز خطوة أولى لتعزيز اعتماد المجتمع على طاقات الشباب والمتطوعين.
كان برنامج المتطوّعين تجربة استثنائية؛ فقد نفّذنا منذ عام 2021 وحتى اليوم آلاف الأنشطة التي أسهمت في خدمة المجتمع وتعزيز التضامن والاستقرار. كما ساعدت هذه الأنشطة الشباب على تحمّل المسؤولية، وأخذ زمام المبادرة لخدمة مجتمعاتهم، وترسيخ قيم السلام والمصالحة، وتعزيز بيئة خالية من العنف والتطرف والكراهية.
نبارك لمتطوّعينا الأعزاء في جميع المحافظات، أولئك الذين نُقلّدهم دومًا أوسمة الشجاعة والتضحية والمحبة، تقديرًا لإخلاصهم وتفانيهم في خدمة العراق.
- Bridges of Volunteering: A Story of Youth Building Peace in Iraq!
Since the 1990s, we have worked to build a wide network of volunteers as part of establishing Iraqi civil society. To this day, we continue to support the culture of volunteering, firmly believing in its vital role in achieving stability.
In 2021, we launched the Volunteer Program, receiving more than 15,000 applications from across Iraq from individuals eager to serve their cities and communities. We went on to establish eleven volunteer centers starting in Nineveh, then Diyala, Baghdad, Basra, and finally Anbar. These centers represented an initial step toward strengthening the community’s reliance on the energy and dedication of young volunteers.
The volunteer program has been truly exceptional; since 2021 and up to today, we have carried out thousands of activities that supported communities and fostered solidarity and stability. These initiatives empowered young people to take responsibility, lead efforts to serve their communities, promote peace and reconciliation, and help create an environment free from violence, extremism, and hatred.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our dedicated volunteers in all provinces those to whom we continually bestow the symbols of courage, sacrifice, and love in appreciation of their devotion and commitment to serving Iraq.

- شركاء الأثر، صُنّاع الغد!

نؤمن بعمق أن المتطوعين هم الطاقة الخلّاقة التي تدفع عجلة التغيير، وتبني جسور الاستقرار، وتعزّز قيم السلام في مجتمعاتنا. ومن هذا الإيمان انطلقنا في تأسيس برنامج المتطوعين ليكون ركيزةً أساسية في عملنا داخل العراق، ومساحةً يلتقي فيها العطاء بالإصرار، والإرادة بالأمل.

عانت المرأة كافة أشكال العنف في العالم، وتستمر هذه المعاناة لتشمل كافة أشكال العنف، وبدورنا كمظمة دولية تهتم في العديد من المجالات، نشدّد على مناهضة كافة أشكال العنف ضدّ المرأة ونطالب الحكومات بسنّ قوانين تناهض كافة أشكال العنف ضدّ المرأة في العراق.
يصادف كلّ 25 تشرين الثاني انطلاق حملة الستة عشر يوما لمناهضة العنف ضدّ المرأة، ونحن نقف على مساحة واحدة لنقول بأنّنا نتضامن مع كافة النساء المعنّفات في العالم ونساهم من خلال مشاريعنا بإيقاف ومنع كافة أنواع العنف في العراق والعالم.
Women have suffered all forms of violence in the world, and this suffering continues to include all forms of violence. In our role as an international organization that cares in many fields, we stress the fight against all forms of violence against women and we call on governments to enact laws that combat all forms of violence against women in Iraq.
Every November 25 coincides with the launch of the 16 Days Campaign to End Violence against Women, and we stand on one space to say that we stand in solidarity with all battered women in the world and contribute through our projects to stopping and preventing all kinds of violence in Iraq and the world.

- ابتسامة الأطفال تهزم أفكار الحرب!

بالتتسيق والتعاون مع منظمة وبرنامج المتطوعين ومكتبة أمل قدّم المهرج الايطالي الشهير العديد من العروض الكوميدية وألعاب الخفّة لمجموعة من الأطفال في عدّة أماكن متنوعة.

تضمّنت هذه العروض اللعب مع الأطفال وألعاب الخفة والعروض الكوميدية التي تركت انطباعاً ايجابياً في نفوس أطفالنا.

- Children’s smiles defeat the thoughts of war!

In coordination and cooperation with the , the Volunteer Program, and Amal Library, the renowned Italian clown presented numerous comedy shows and magic tricks to groups of children in various locations.

These performances included playing with the children, magic tricks, and comedic acts that left a positive impression on our children.
