There has been no eruption at all since the recent quakes and the country is, and has always been, open.

Dear travellers, on Saturday evening and on Sunday until noon there will be a very bad weather (orange weather warning) by the south coast and southeast Iceland, following with yellow weather warning until evening of Sunday.
