Vakta, was built in 1845 and is the oldest house in the charming neighborhood of Grjotathorp. Vakta has been restored back to its original appearance and is now one of the prominent historical buildings in Reykjavik. Vakta´s vision and mission is to manage their operations in a sustainable manner and its goal is to allow guest to experience the “atmosphere of the past” in the present downtown Reykjavík.
