SUNCAVE GARDENS offers an amazingly beautiful and unique location for your concerts, videos, conferences, yoga seminars, weddings, or any other heart- based expression that needs a particular and inviting atmosphere. There is a 200 seat amphitheater in front of a 120 mq Etruscan grotto surrounded by landscaped gardens with fruit trees, and a variation of flora and trees. We can also offer home-made lunches and dinners that are produced from our organic gardens ,as well as locally grown organic produce and dairy. All is transformed and served with lots of creativity, and loving alchemy your taste buds will never forget! We also host Suncave Gardens Naturist club, a secluded green oasis surrounded by agrarian woodlands right in the heart of ancient Etruscan grounds just outside Rome. A 7-acre property designed and built for complete comfort and peace featuring an Etruscan cave that faces a surrounding amphitheater . This backdrop lends itself to scenic walks, horseback riding, season fruit and veg harvesting, mountain biking along hills amidst herds of roaming livestock or discovering quaint towns around Lake Bracciano areas.. otherwise just relaxing in and around the garden. Located just 30 minutes outside the city it provides easy access to all areas from Rome to lower Tuscany.

*15 minutes from Cerveteri’s Etruscan museum and (UNESCO Heritage) Necropolis.
*20 minutes from Rome Fiumicino Airport providing easy connection to other European and world cities
*25 minutes to major seaports Civitavecchia and Fiumicino with links all around the Mediterranean
Public transport:
*25 minute local train ride to St. Peters, Termini and center of Rome. Rides to and from stations organized with proprietors. C'è un anfiteatro di 200 posti davanti alle grotte Etrusche di 120 mq. circondato dei giardini curati, con una varietà di alberi e aiuole di rose, spezie e frutti. Prepariamo pietanze create da materia prima degli orti organici sia nostrane sia da allevamenti e orti biodinamici entro 10 km dintorno; formaggi, ricotte, polli ruspanti, frutti, tutti trasformati con l'alchemia di creatività ed amore, che le vostre papille gustative non dimenticheranno! La capacità di mettersi a n**o anche da vestiti.

Tra le parole più abusate del nostro tempo primeggia comunità. O meglio, community, che fa più social.

Forse perché evoca una dimensione di coesistenza e condivisione oggi sempre più rara, fatta di persone che si riconoscono per affinità elettive e scelgono di esserci le une per le altre.

A SunCave Gardens questa dimensione continua a prendere forma, acquistando stagione dopo stagione maggiore profondità.

Il pranzo di oggi ne è stato un’altra testimonianza: partecipazione sincera, dialogo, confronto, gentilezza, buon cibo e tante risate.

Perché una comunità non nasce semplicemente dallo stare insieme, ma dalla volontà di esserci, ascoltarsi e crescere reciprocamente.

Few words get thrown around quite as much as community. Especially when calling it a community makes everything sound a little more social-media friendly.

Perhaps because it evokes something increasingly rare: a genuine sense of belonging, where people find one another through shared affinities and choose to show up for each other.

At SunCave Gardens, that connection keeps growing stronger and deeper with every passing season.

Today’s lunch was another beautiful reminder of what it means: genuine participation, open conversations, kindness, good food and plenty of laughter.

Because a community isn’t built simply by spending time together, but by being present, listening to one another and growing together.

LA LIBERTÀ DI ESSERE NUDI. ANCHE A CASA.

Con l’arrivo delle temperature più fresche, il piacere di vivere nudi può continuare anche tra le mura domestiche.

La casa diventa così uno spazio di libertà, dove spogliarsi è un gesto spontaneo che permette di ritrovare un rapporto più diretto e consapevole con il proprio corpo e, quando si vive in coppia, anche con quello del partner.

La nudità ci rende tanto vulnerabili quanto iper-ricettivi. Liberi dalle costrizioni degli abiti, possiamo riscoprire la naturalezza dei movimenti, mentre anche la mente può concedersi una pausa dalle convenzioni che accompagnano la vita quotidiana.

Fare le pulizie domestiche, cucinare o starsene serenamente sdraiati a sorseggiare una tisana leggendo un buon libro possono diventare esperienze completamente diverse quando ci liberiamo delle sovrastrutture tessili.

THE FREEDOM TO BE NAKED. AT HOME, TOO.

As the weather turns cooler, the pleasure of living naked doesn’t have to end with the outdoor season.

Home becomes a space where we can simply be ourselves, where getting undressed feels entirely natural and allows us to reconnect with our bodies and, for those sharing their lives with someone, with their partner’s too.

Nudity can leave us feeling both vulnerable and wonderfully receptive. Free from the constraints of clothing, we rediscover the ease of natural movement, while our minds get a welcome break from the conventions of everyday life.

Doing the housework, cooking or simply lounging with a herbal tea and a good book can feel entirely different when we shed those layers of fabric and convention.

IL CORPO, LA LUCE, IL CALORE.
L’universo pittorico di Ivan Pokidyshev.

Siamo certi che nell’arte abbiate avuto modo di osservare il corpo n**o attraverso mille interpretazioni differenti. Ma probabilmente mai come ce lo mostra l’artista russo Ivan Pokidyshev.

La sua ricerca si concentra su qualcosa che normalmente possiamo percepire, ma non vedere: il calore emanato dai corpi.

Ispirandosi alla termografia a infrarossi, Pokidyshev traduce questo fenomeno in pittura, dando vita a figure incandescenti che sembrano sprigionare luce dall’interno.

Una tecnica pittorica sorprendente, nella quale il calore diventa colore e l’energia vitale acquista una dimensione visibile.

Ma c’è qualcosa che va oltre la suggestione estetica: il calore diventa anche un linguaggio universale, capace di raccontare la vicinanza, il desiderio e quella misteriosa energia che ci lega agli altri.

The painted world of Ivan Pokidyshev.

You’ve probably seen the naked body portrayed in art in countless different ways. But chances are, never quite like this.

Russian artist Ivan Pokidyshev explores something we can feel but cannot normally see: the heat radiating from our bodies.

Drawing inspiration from infrared thermography, he translates this invisible phenomenon into painting, creating glowing figures that seem to radiate light from within.

It’s a remarkable painterly technique, where heat becomes colour and vital energy takes on a visible form.

Yet there’s more to his work than its striking visual impact. Warmth becomes a universal language, expressing closeness, desire and the mysterious energy that connects us to one another.

Dopo aver ringraziato tutti gli ospiti che questa estate hanno scelto di abitare il giardino di SunCave, desidero rivolgere un pensiero speciale a chi mi è stato accanto, contribuendo ogni giorno alle tante attività necessarie per garantire a tutti un’accoglienza premurosa e un soggiorno all’insegna del relax.

Ho sempre creduto che il valore di una comunità risieda soprattutto nella capacità di sostenersi reciprocamente, condividendo responsabilità, fatiche e momenti di gioia.

E quest’anno, ancora una volta, ho avuto la fortuna di poter contare sui miei meravigliosi Helping Angels.

In questa selezione di immagini, la giovane fotografa catalana rivolge l’obiettivo verso sé stessa e il proprio partner, dando vita a un racconto sospeso tra intimità e desiderio.

Un rituale consapevolmente voyeuristico, fatto di giochi di luce, ombre e riflessi sulle superfici vetrate, che sembrano invitare l’osservatore a prendere parte all’effluvio emozionale dei due protagonisti.

Lo sguardo si fa complice di una dimensione privata, dove la sensualità dei corpi trascende la loro sessualizzazione per trasformarsi in qualcosa di profondamente poetico.

In this selection of photographs, the young Catalan photographer turns the lens on herself and her photographic partner, creating a visual narrative suspended somewhere between intimacy and desire.

A knowingly voyeuristic ritual of light, shadow and reflections across glass surfaces, drawing the viewer into the emotional atmosphere shared by the two figures.

The gaze becomes complicit in a private world, where the sensuality of their bodies moves beyond sexualisation and takes on something profoundly poetic.

CORPI NUDI

Negli anni Trenta, mentre l’Italia imponeva rigidi modelli sociali e culturali, Elio Luxardo trovava nel suo studio uno spazio privato in cui il corpo poteva ancora sottrarsi alle convenzioni.

Nascono così i suoi Corpi Nudi: fotografie mai destinate al commercio, rimaste a lungo nascoste, nelle quali luce e ombra modellano figure ispirate all’arte classica greca e romana. Il vigore del n**o maschile incontra la sensualità di quello femminile, lasciando emergere tutte le contraddizioni di un’epoca.

A quasi un secolo di distanza, quei corpi tornano finalmente a mostrarsi.

Perché la nudità è l’atto liberatorio per antonomasia.
La condizione in cui tutto ha inizio.

NAKED BODIES

In 1930s Italy, while society imposed rigid cultural and social codes, Elio Luxardo found in his studio a private space where the body could still escape convention.

His Corpi Nudi emerged from that intimacy: photographs never intended for sale and hidden away for decades, where light and shadow sculpt bodies inspired by classical Greek and Roman art. Masculine vigour meets feminine sensuality, revealing the contradictions of an entire era.

Nearly a century later, those bodies are finally allowed to be seen again.

Because nudity is the ultimate act of liberation.
The condition in which everything begins.
