What do you think… is an installation advertising intimate deodorant for women appropriate in a historic square that is 269 years old?

I was actually filming this for some reason, and somehow the video ended up upside down.

I decided to leave it that way. Somehow, I think it’s even better like this. 😄

Did you know that in Naples, your neighbors can become part of your everyday family?

Follow me — it’s important to me.

In the old neighborhoods, people often know who lives next door, who runs the little shop downstairs, who has been living on the same street for decades.

Doors open onto tiny courtyards and narrow streets… and private life often mixes with street life.

People stop to talk, help each other, share food, watch the children and, of course, have a very loud conversation from one balcony to another. 😄

In Naples, the street isn’t just a place you pass through… it’s part of your social life.

Did you know that some of Naples’ oldest buildings hide an entire little world behind their doors?

Many historic Neapolitan buildings were built around inner courtyards, with apartments, balconies and staircases facing the same shared space.

These courtyards were more than just architecture… they became places where neighbors talked, children played, laundry was hung, and everyday life happened between the walls.

From the street, the buildings can look dark and closed. Walk through the entrance, and suddenly you discover another Naples inside.

Did you know that in Naples, crossing the street wherever you need to can feel completely normal?

You’ll often see locals crossing the road even when there’s a pedestrian crossing nearby.

It’s part of the rhythm of the city… pedestrians, scooters and cars constantly negotiate their space, often through eye contact, gestures and a quick calculation of who is going first.

For visitors, it can look chaotic.

For many Neapolitans… it’s simply everyday life.
