Love in cooking is turning a simple salad into a small ritual 🥗🌼
Choosing the best ingredients, cutting them slowly, breathing in their scent and arranging their colors like a little painting made by nature.

Sunday memories are made of amazing food, blue skies, warm laughter and the gentle purring of cats that make everything feel just right.
Sadly, a photo can’t capture the rich aroma of our crunchy polenta topped with cardoncelli mushrooms and gorgonzola cream, nor can it convey the melt-in-your-mouth tenderness of our Spezzatino, slow-cooked for three hours until it’s as soft as butter.
Come and visit us to experience the true pleasure of a traditional Italian Sunday lunch — where every dish tells a story and every moment feels like home.

And this is how our week gently unfolds — between the garden in bloom, lazy cats in the sun and evenings scented with pasta and laughter.

A little basket of indulgence 🧀✨
Crispy Parmigiano cradling Belgian endive, silky mortadella, crunchy pistachios and fresh cheese kissed with spices.
Textures, flavors, and elegance in every bite — the perfect appetizer to begin something beautiful in our beautiful house 👏🏻😍

Simple pleasures taste the best 🌿🍅🍺
Today’s garden treat is our easy-to-go bruschetta — rustic, fresh and full of love.
Made with warm slices of homemade bread, toasted just enough to be golden and crisp on the outside, soft and fragrant on the inside.
We layered it with freshly picked chicory from the garden — slightly bitter, beautifully crisp — thin slices of speck ham from our trusted delicatessen, sweet early cherry tomatoes bursting with sunshine and soft cherry mozzarella that melts gently into every bite.
A drizzle of good olive oil, a pinch of salt, and that’s it. Simple. Honest. Perfect.
Enjoyed outdoors, surrounded by green leaves and spring air, with a cool glass of IPA beer in hand — crisp, aromatic, refreshing — balancing every flavor.
This is what paradise tastes like: fresh ingredients, open skies, slow moments, and food made to be shared. 🌸✨

There’s something truly magical about this time of year in our country home. ❄️🌸
Winter is still whispering in the early mornings, but spring is gently knocking at the door.
The light lingers a little longer each evening, the sun feels warmer on our faces and the world slowly begins to breathe again.
It’s in these quiet in-between days that we feel most connected to nature.
The trees, once bare and still, begin to stretch awake with tiny buds forming at their tips.
And the shyest flowers push through the earth, reminding us that beauty often arrives softly and without fanfare.
We celebrate this season not with grand events, but with simple moments: morning walks wrapped in cozy sweaters, warm tea enjoyed on the porch, birds returning with hopeful songs, muddy boots by the door and laughter carried by a gentle breeze that smells of fresh soil and new beginnings.
This magical space between winter and spring teaches us patience. It reminds us that growth takes time, that warmth follows even the coldest days and that every ending quietly holds the promise of a new beginning.
Here, in our old home, we don’t rush the seasons — we savor them. We watch, we listen, we breathe deeply and we give thanks for the miracle of nature waking up once more.
Here’s to soft transitions, blooming dreams, and the beautiful reminder that even after the longest winter, life always finds its way back to blossom. 🌿✨
