The international governing body of Democrats Abroad is known as the Democratic Party Committee Abroad, or DPCA. Democrats Abroad is recognized and seated as the equivalent of a State Party within the Democratic National Committee (DNC). Democrats Abroad holds 8 positions on the DNC and sends a voting delegation to the Democratic National Convention to choose our party's presidential candidate. On a day-to-day basis Democrats Abroad - Italy is one of 80 country committees around the world connecting Americans with US politics — registering, informing, motivating voters, holding events, and raising funds. We have chapters in Milan, Venice, Florence, and Rome, but our members can be found throughout the peninsula, and volunteers are needed everywhere. Italian:
