Successful Philippine Outreach Mission in Malta | 18–20 September 2026

The Philippine Embassy in Rome together with the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) and OWWA, successfully concluded its three-day outreach mission in Malta from 18–20 September 2026.

The outreach brought essential consular and migrant worker services closer to the Filipino community in Malta, providing a convenient venue for the delivery of government services and assistance. It also served as an opportunity to engage with our kababayans, listen to their concerns, and strengthen the government’s continuing support for the welfare and well-being of Filipino migrant workers and their families.

The successful conduct of the outreach reflects the Embassy, MWO, and OWWA’s shared commitment to making public services more accessible to Filipinos abroad and ensuring that the needs of the Filipino community are heard and addressed.

The Migrant Workers Office and OWWA together with the Philippine Embassy in Rome extends its appreciation to the Filipino community in Malta, partner organizations, volunteers, and all those who contributed to the success of the outreach mission.

ON-SITE VERIFICATION OF EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTS

👨‍👩‍👧 2. Filipino nationals na legal na nag-migrate sa ibang bansa at nag-convert ng migrant status into worker status — gaya ng petitioned family members, dependents, permanent residents, at holders of spouse/fiancé visas.

📋 REQUIREMENTS

Prepare the following:

1️⃣ Employment Contract
2️⃣ Valid Passport
3️⃣ Valid Work Permit
4️⃣ ID ng authorized signatory ng employer
5️⃣ Authorization ng authorized signatory
6️⃣ Business Registration ng employer
7️⃣ Latest Payslips
8️⃣ Signed Undertaking
