𝗖𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗮-𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘇𝗮𝗿𝗼 𝗟𝗶𝗱𝗼: 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗶𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀

In Calabria, Southern Italy, we are carrying out 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 and 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 on bridges, viaducts and ancillary structures along the Cosenza-Catanzaro Lido railway line.

Among the structures involved, the 𝗙𝗶𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗩𝗶𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 is one of the most technically complex. The single-track viaduct, made up of six arches, extends approximately 125 metres and reaches a maximum 𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝟯𝟳 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀, with a curved horizontal alignment.

Its height, structural configuration and limited accessibility increase the complexity of our operations, requiring detailed engineering planning, specialised expertise and rigorous ex*****on.

🏃‍♀️ 𝗔𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Today we took part in Race for the Cure 2026 in Rome.

Our team joined the 5 km run and walk at Circo Massimo, together with colleagues, families and friends, sharing a meaningful day in support of an important cause.

🎗️ 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

From 7 to 10 May, Rome will host Race for the Cure 2026, the initiative by Komen Italia dedicated to the fight against breast cancer.

We are proud to support this important event and to join the 5 km run and walk at Circo Massimo on 10 May.

📹 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗧𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹: 𝗙𝗔𝗦𝗧 𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸!

In the Francica Tunnel, on the Battipaglia–Reggio Calabria line, we are carrying out a strategic track renewal project along one of Italy’s main north–south rail corridors.

The project involves replacing the existing ballasted track with our 𝗙𝗔𝗦𝗧 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺, a ballastless solution based on precast concrete slabs, installed on both tracks throughout the tunnel for a total length of 𝟭𝟭.𝟱 𝗸𝗺.

Work is progressing rapidly, without interrupting rail traffic, thanks to the FAST System and our specialized work trains.

📰 𝗕𝗜𝗠 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
Si è svolto oggi a Napoli il BIM Conference Napoli 2026, convegno organizzato da One Team presso l’Aula Magna dell’Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, dedicato all’evoluzione del 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 nel settore delle infrastrutture.

Per 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢, società di progettazione del Gruppo Salcef, ha partecipato Antonio De Simone, BIM Manager, intervenendo con un approfondimento tecnico dal tema "𝗥𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗼 𝗕𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶 𝗜-𝗜𝗜 𝗘𝘀𝘁 – 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶 - 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮".
La presentazione si è incentrata sulla gestione del cantiere nell’ottica del 𝗕𝗜𝗠 𝟰𝗗 (𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗶) e 𝟱𝗗 (𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶), illustrando l’integrazione tra modelli informativi, pianificazione delle fasi operative e controllo economico dell’intervento.

L’intervento ha dato avvio a un dibattito che ha visto il contributo di importanti realtà attive nel mondo delle infrastrutture.

Some of the large yellow railway maintenance machines built by SRT and used every day on our construction sites have been recreated in 5-inch gauge scale by Italian model maker Gabriele Lisetti.

In 𝗣𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 – 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗹, Lisetti shares his passion for railway modelling and the careful research, precision and craftsmanship behind models inspired by real railway work vehicles.

In just 𝘀𝗶𝘅 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀, we completed track construction along the entire Verona-Bivio Vicenza section — 𝟴𝟴 𝗸𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸 and 20 turnouts.

A result built day by day by our teams on site, combining expertise, coordination and advanced mechanized construction, including the use of the MCB01 track-laying train.

This is one more step forward in the development of the Milan-Venice corridor, part of the TEN-T network, helping shape faster and more sustainable rail connections.
