🇳🇿🥝🇮🇹 Today, Ambassador Anais Kedgley Laidlaw visited Zespri’s offices in Bologna and the Salvi family’s kiwifruit packing facility to learn more about their longstanding partnership.

As growers and packers, the Salvi family are among Zespri’s valued partners in its Northern Hemisphere production programme. Italy’s and New Zealand’s complementary growing seasons help ensure a year-round supply of Zespri kiwifruit to consumers around the world.

A great example of collaboration between New Zealand and Italy. Thank you to the Zespri and Salvi teams for the warm welcome and valuable insights!

🇳🇿🇮🇹 🐑 New Zealand wool meets Italian excellence!

A longstanding partnership connecting New Zealand’s wool growers with the very best of Italian textile manufacturing.

Today, New Zealand Ambassador Anais Kedgley Laidlaw visited Reda 1865, one of Italy’s leading producers of premium wool fabrics and a longstanding partner of New Zealand’s wool industry.

Hosted by Francesco and Fabrizio Botto Poala, the Ambassador had the opportunity to learn more about REDA’s operations, including a visit to its wool processing facility in Romagnano Sesia, where fine and superfine wool undergoes the first stages of transformation into high-quality fibres destined for the world’s leading fashion houses.

Accompanied by New Zealand Consul General Austin Brick and Giovanni Boschin from New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, the visit celebrated the enduring relationship between New Zealand wool producers and Italian textile manufacturers.

Combining New Zealand’s world-class natural fibres with generations of Italian craftsmanship and innovation, REDA is a wonderful example of the strong commercial ties between our two countries.
