LAZGI INTERNATIONAL DANCE FESTIVAL 2026

The Lazgi International Dance Festival 2026 will be held in Khiva, Khorezm Region, Republic of Uzbekistan, from 25 to 30 April 2026.
The Festival is organized with the aim of preserving and promoting the traditional Khorezm dance “Lazgi”, included in UNESCO’s List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, as well as strengthening international cultural dialogue and cooperation.
The event brings together professional dancers, choreographers, scholars, and cultural practitioners from different countries, providing an international platform for artistic exchange and academic discussion.

The Festival is open to:
• Solo dancers and professional dance groups
• Choreographers and dance artists

• Maximum performance duration: up to 10 minutes
• Maximum delegation size: 10 participants per country
• Conference presentation time: up to 10 minutes
• Working languages: Uzbek, Russian, and English

• Grand Prix: USD 7,000
• First Prize (per nomination): USD 5,000
• Second Prize: USD 3,000
• Third Prize: USD 2,000
Special awards will be presented for:
• Best Dance
