Stop the Spread! ๐๐ฑ๐ธ
Many invasive species spread into the wild by escaping from our gardens. You can help prevent further invasions by remembering to Be Plant Wise:
๐ง Know what you grow - choose the right plants for you garden pond or water features.
โ Stop the spread โ keep your plants in your garden, donโt plant them or allow them to spread into the wild.
๐ฑ Compost with care โ make sure nothing you remove from your garden, or pond gets into the wild. Green waste at La Collette will take most garden plants.
If you would like to learn more about the Being Plant Wise, the Government of Jerseyโs Biosecurity Team will be at Ransoms Garden Centre today from 09:00 until 16:00.

Please remember during this hot weather to keep putting clean fresh water out for your garden birds every day while also keeping it topped up in the afternoons if necessary!
All birds will need to drink plenty throughout the day while also bathing at least once to keep themselves in great condition.
Itโs also very important to remember to keep your water bowls and bird baths clean to stop any build up of harmful bacteria.

Long before clocks and calendars, the changing path of the sun marked the passing of time ๐
How will you spend the longest day of the year?

Some plans do not need much planning.
A blanket. A good spot. Someone who remembered the crisps ๐งบ
The Park is made for moments like this, just keep it kind and take everything home with you...
Leave only the shape of your blanket in the grass๐
