An early start for the team this morning at 2.30am to close The Parade outside the hospital to assist Keda Structures with lifting a new chiller unit for the hospital operating theatres. Job well done by all and finished earlier than planned so was completed whilst most people still in bed . Well done to all involved. We are currently dealing with a burst water main on La Rue au Blancq , St Clement ( road between top of Ponterson Lane and Clos de Roncier) The road will be closed to traffic and is unlikely to be re opened until tomorrow afternoon as the tarmac will have to be reinstated once the repair is done . Jayen Limited and Jersey Water apologise for any inconvenience caused by these emergency works.
