Our latest Annual Report reflects not only our work, but also the continued commitment of providers, care professionals and the wider community across Jersey.
Over the past year, we’ve seen the positive impact of collaboration, engagement and shared learning in supporting safe, responsive and compassionate care.
Commenting in the report Rebecca Sherrington, Chief Inspector, reflects:
“This year has been one of learning, reflection and progress. I am immensely proud of the Commission, of the commitment shown by our team, and of the real difference our work continues to make to the lives of residents, families and carers across Jersey.”
Thank you to everyone who continues to contribute to improving the quality and experience of care across the Island.

We’ve recently updated our Complaints Policy to reflect amendments to the Regulation of Care (Jersey) Law 2014, including the extension of regulation to hospital, ambulance and mental health services.
Feedback on our role, approach and guidance helps ensure the policy is clear, proportionate and fit for purpose. Later this week, we’ll be inviting feedback from providers, service users and members of the public as part of a consultation period on the updated policy.
The consultation will be available as an online survey on our website from 23 April https://carecommission.je/
If you’d prefer to provide feedback in person we will also be hosting a drop-in session on 29 April from 12:00–13:00 at the Care Commission offices, 1st Floor, Capital House, 8 Church Street, St Helier
