Could YOU foster a child?
The Hive is an innovative method of delivering foster care using an extended family model - providing short breaks and sleepovers, social activities and peer support to better support children and their foster carers.
Our new Hive model offers connection and community so fostering never feels like youโre doing it alone.
If you think you could make a difference to the life of a child or young person then please get in touch:

Something new is launching in Jersey!
The Hive is a new community based fostering model that brings foster carers together into small, connected groups. Carers support one another, share care when needed and build strong, trusted relationships for children and teenagers.
At the heart of each hive is an experienced hub home carer, offering guidance, encouragement and a sense of belonging, a bit like an extended family.
If you have ever thought about fostering, come along and chat to the team at the Central Market on Friday 15 May, Saturday 16 May or Monday 18 May.

As part of Foster Carer Fortnight weโre delighted to be launching a new fostering service called The Hive!
Fostering households are grouped together in supportive communities. Each has a hub carer who provides leadership and help to the families in the Hive.
So, as well as support from the fostering team, families can help each other โ thereโs always someone at the end of the phone whoโs experienced the same journey. And the children can build meaningful and trusting relationships with the other families within the Hive.
