Of these 237 authorisations, 229 have been for g***a and 8 for h**p.

Yesterday, we said farewell to our Interim CEO, Miss Daenia Ashpole.
Miss Ashpole served as head of the CLA with grace, passion and care. She has, no doubt, left an indelible mark on the CLA and the local medicinal cannabis industry.

The CLA has implemented a compliance system (CMEP- Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Plan) that focuses on monitoring to mitigate the need for enforcement actions and bolster licensee and applicant engagement and the use of technology.

Did you know that on October 18, 2017, the CLA issued its first and second licenses for handling g***a? That means today marks five years since our first licences were issued.
The licences were issued to Epican Medicinals (Retail) and Everything Oily (Processor).
