The Casino Gaming Commission in Jamaica was established by the Casino Gaming Act, 2010.

The Commission is charged with the power to grant casino licences as well as to be the regulatory body for casino gaming in Jamaica.

On Thursday we wrapped up our GLI University training with an insightful virtual session on Slot Machine Forensics. This follows our intensive three-day workshop held in April.

True regulation thrives on collaboration, and we were proud to have team members from the Jamaica Customs Agency, MOCA, BGLC, and FID join us on this training as we work together to keep casino gaming fair, transparent, and lawful.

We're building the foundation for a world-class Casino gaming sector in Jamaica!

Last week the Casino Gaming Commission (CGC) hosted an intensive three-day GLI University training workshop in Kingston. We welcomed iur facilitators from Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) and some of our key partners, including the BGLC , MOCA , FID and Jamaica Customs Agency to sharpen our oversight capacity.

From the engineering and components of slot machines to the complex math behind odds and game profitability, our teams dove deep into international best practices. This capacity-building effort is one of many important steps for us as Jamaica prepares to diversify our tourism product through Integrated Resort Developments.
