Journaling Estonia: Session on Legal Framework for Information Society. “In a digital society, secure data handling is a very important task for all data owners. During the session, we talked about the regulatory aspects in building e-governance; how to categorise public and sensitive data and the criteria for data use in a secure manner."

"Cyber security is the protection of systems, networks and data in cyberspace and is a critical issue for all businesses and government. Cyber security principles demand coordinated policies and an interdisciplinary approach that includes public sector, private sector, academia and civil society." The Minister commends the Jamaica Cyber Incident Response team for their work in increasing cyber security awareness across government and the private sector.
