Update: The Burnt Savannah pumping station is up and running, and residents of Lacovia and surrounding communities should now have access to water. However, some communities may still be without water due to broken mains. I've spoken with the National Water Commission (NWC) to expedite repairs and reconnect these communities as soon as possible.
Yesterday, I joined the team from Newport Fersan Jamaica Limited, where we distributed mattresses to residents in need within the communities of Johnson, Prospect, Accompong, Whitehill, Lacovia, Bloomsbury, Ginger Hill, Brighton, and Holland Valley. As we transition into the phase of building back stronger, we are committed to providing our residents with the necessary amenities to recover stronger. Thank you, Newport Fersan, for your partnership. Let us work together in building back St Elizabeth North Western.
