The People’s National Party Youth Organization (PNPYO) says it is disappointed with the government’s handling of the ongoing land debacle on the outskirts of the Clifton community in St Catherine.

According to the PNPYO, the situation in the Clifton community brings into sharp focus the challenges surrounding adequate, sustainable, and affordable home ownership in Jamaica.

As such, the organisation has commended the Leader of the Opposition, Mark Golding, for the announced commitment that the PNP will be providing support to the displaced residents of the community.

Our heroes fought for our freedom, against colonialism, and for our independence. Happy Heroes Day Jamaica 🇯🇲
